Toyota Yaris 2019 upgrade from projector halogen
Installed into Toyota Yaris 2019 1.5 Petrol Non-hybrid Automatic with halogen projector headlights.Had to remove the existing bulbs to determine what type i needed as different retailers claim different requirements - some say H4, some say H11 and others say HIR2. The existing bulbs were marked HIR2. Was surprised to discover both dipped beam and full beam are served by one single element bulb.I wanted to be sure the beam shapes of the new bulbs matched the old, so waited until it was dark, then pointed the car at a wall with the old halogen bulbs in and stuck bits of masking tape on the wall around the shape of the dipped beams.Replacing the bulbs was straight forward. I notice each bulb has a tiny fan integrated into its base - hopefully no dirt or detritus will fall into it. The shape of the dipped beams with the new LED bulbs seem identical, but with a much more uniform spread of light and no hot spots. I turned the lights on and off and turned the engine on and off a few times and there were no dashboard errors. I then drove about 10 miles in it, passing numerous vehicles and nobody flashed me.The improvement in visibility is remarkable - i am surprised it's still legal to drive with halogen bulbs. Hopefully the manufacturer's claim of 1500hr lifespan is accurate. Having said that, if they last just 10k miles i would say they are worth it over the dreadful halogens.

What could have taken an hour is now in its second day.. [and old bulbs back in]
These, LED-HL Ultinon Access - for HB3 or HB4 lights. Don't! Just DO NOT.This is about specific fit HB3/HB4. My review can't work for any other fitting because each fitting is, very obviously, different in design and material and, who knows, might fit perfectly.HB lamp types are the L-shaped bayonet types. I bought a pair for a 2000 Toyota which has both HB3 and HB4 lights in lamp unit, as in, main and dipped beams require separate bulbs. Each bulb is assembled from two separate pieces, bayonet collar and bulb assembly. The collar is supposed to 'lock' to the lamp unit and then the whole thing bayonets into the fitting as one piece, like a regular filament bulb - in desperation I did try the pieces separately. The locking collar, a stressed piece, is made of a very nice, incredibly soft, flexible plastic. It does not lock in because it bends round the lock lugs that are supposed to be the 'locks'. The lugs look a bit small.I never managed to 'lock click' and confirm correct fitment. My best success was to have bulb stay in limply. Mostly I could wiggle it out.I could spin bulb round and round, lock collar zipping past locking lugs. The old bulb are back in.I don't think I did anything wrong - if so then a usable manual might have set me right.I don't see how this was ever sold. The eco-instructions are just as insulting. None in the box of course. No need to consult paper instructions whilst working on a car, good thinking that.I eco-downloaded the eco-instructions and found them as useless as the bulbs themselves. It's just a wishfully thinking brochure about what might be happening to some imaginary bulb THAT FITS.This review is specific to the fitting. I bought same brand, different series for H7/H18 and those look usable [I can't say more than that as I ran out of daylight doing battle with a light bulb. And losing]

Great upgrade - just a bit expensive
Brilliant upgrade from h7 halogens on a 2006 range rover sport. Make a noticeable difference in light output, very clean and bright, but won't dazzle other drivers.Wish more mainstream companies would so them.Only negative is they are very expensive, unless you can get them during a sale or with a promotional voucher...planning on upgrading the high beam to them too 👍Highly recommend either way 👍

Best hir2 bulb ever
I have Auris 2015 Gen 2 facelift hybrid. Using HIR2 (9012) type. Tried halogen toyota sold bulbs, osram halogen, philips halogen . All crap and useless, phone flash is more help! Tried Bevinsee v45 - huge improvement and was driving at night safe with great visibility. One bulb started overheating and flickered. So found this philips bulb... This bulb is amazing! Its on warmer side but its not some chinese aftermarket so i sleep better knowing there wont be fires. This bulb is next level really.

Very bright and excellent beam pattern
The media could not be loaded. Excellent bulbs which provide excellent visibility on the road. They give the car a nice and modern look with a similar beam pattern and cut off line as halogens as they are compatible with reflector type headlights (remember to face led chips at 9 and 3 to get the correct beam pattern). They shine a nice bright white light which helps you stay safe on the road. So far not been flashed by anyone as these bulbs do not blind oncoming traffic. 10/10.
