I love this vibrant paint! They have a little sparkle as they are made from minerals. They are so smooth and the color goes on the paper very well!

I absolutely love granulating paints and really wanted the schmincke set but they’re SO expensive! I came across these and hadn’t tried white nights at all yet but heard great things about them so I got these and let me tell you! I am so happy with these! The activate very easily and you can get plenty of paint on your brush with very little water. They granulate beautifully and the colors are very pigmented! Little tip, save the box they come in! When you are using the palette, put the box underneath the tray part that pops out and fits into the other side. Place it under that and it will keep it all perfectly level! The painting of the snow scene was done using all paints from the white nights granulating set and the spontaneous one was done using mostly paints from the white nights set plus indanthrone blue which isn’t part of the set.

These are so pretty!! I love the color separation in these paints, best color separation is into wet surfaces!!! Amazing!

I like this set well enough that I am planning to get the other granulating water color set to go with this. The colors are very interesting and a lot of fun to play with. I do not like the case though. Just because it doesn't lay flat. There is an additional tray in the lid that you can pop out, but it is very difficult to pop out. I finally had to get a screwdriver to extract it. Eventually, I'm going to have to get a metal case to move all of these into. If I had known that I was going to have to invest in another case to make it more usable, I could have saved money just getting the larger set that they offer in the metal case.🤦‍♀️😕🤷‍♀️

Yummy, juicy, highly pigmented and very nicely granulating as is expected from the brand. Awesome paints.

I was between 4-5 stars. I gave it a 5/5 because this is a fun palette for the price. Seriously, which top name brand would price their paint for this granulation effect? I bought this set with the intent to have loads of fun in my sketchbook.The not-so-fun part was when I watched these pans sink in real-time after rewetting them. You can see the bubble pockets and the colors caving in one of the photos. Scarlet Mist deflated the most. I love that color but it looks very deflated in the pan.I swatched these paints on 100% cotton cold pressed and rough paper for comparison.Pros: rewet easily, fun, cool granulation effectCons: deflated, not much in these pans

I love this paint. If you like granulating paint this is a great one. The colors are amazing…I don’t think you can go wrong with White Nigths period.
