Stripes are screen printed
The kitty stripes on this plushie are screen printed on, which I was really disappointed to find out. The fur is a medium pile, so screen printing on top of it means it looks cakey and cracked. The plushie is soft, except for those stripes which are kind of unpleasant to run your hand over. It is super cute, but if you plan to cuddle with this plushie and have sensory issues, this might be a problem for you.

Soft and plush!
First off, I'm going to start my review by saying how happy and thrilled I am that this plushie does NOT come vacuum sealed! I have gotten so many plushies online that are almost destroyed by vacuum sealing. This little guy comes perfectly plump and ready for cuddling! The stitch work is superb and everything you'd expect from the San-X licensed brand. It's a nice size, too. Not too big and not too small. The perfect size for snuggling or displaying. This plush is great quality and is a must have for anyone collecting San-X. Love it!

Adorable and Well Made!
I love this Rilakkuma plush! It's better made than I was honestly expecting. It's fairly big, very soft and cuddly, and it is official merchandise! I'm always a bit afraid of getting a cheap knock-off if not ordering something Sanrio straight from one of their stores, but this is the real deal. The little cat costume does not come off, which was slightly disappointing because it would have been nice to be able to change outfits, but also not a big deal either. Overall very happy and would highly recommend!

Super cute and high quality
My daughter loves the Japanese atheistic movies and art. I ordered here this one because of our orange cat and it just looked pretty nice in the picture. In person it looks even nicer. My daughter was immediately very excited about the doll and wouldn't put it down. The quality is extremely nice for a plush and very soft and squeezable. I really like that there are no hard eyes or other plastic bits to get broken or fall off with rough handling.My youngest has his eye on it so I may need to order a different one to keep both kids happy.
