Great if used with caution!
First impressions: It has a great weight to it, it's SUPER smooth and feels sturdy, and the functionality is easy to understand and get started. The soft storage bag is a nice inclusion. The cord I would say is at least 8ft, so that's great. I may plan on heating it up and then unplugging it though. The heat is retained for a few minutes of use once unplugged. I'm cycling through the various temperature settings now. 20C is warm, but definitely not hot enough for anything. 40C-60C is perfect for my face/eyes/neck/bare skin. This would have really been useful when I had an awful sinus infection a few weeks ago. I tried all sorts of heating devices on my face (pads, hot water, heated face scrubber, etc). This should really come with some type of heat resistant pad or stand. In the upper ranges (80-100C) this could be dangerous to set down on just any surface. I have a heat resistant pad from a curling iron I will be using this for. The wood handle remains cool. Temps of 80/100C I would not use without a barrier between the skin, like over clothes. Those temps could be dangerous and possibly cause burns, especially if left in one spot.I will definitely be using this. My girlfriend has a heating pad "addiction", but I also love giving her massages. She will love this on her back with some oil. And with the weight of it I won't be having to apply too much more pressure, which is a win for both of us.

Works well
Heats up quickly and good for muscle soreness

Coil heating varies
Heats up fast and thorough, but burns too much on the side of the stone while palm side is only warm. Not sure why the side of the stone gets hotter. I tend to warm it up on the low setting because of this and cool down the sides with a wet towel. Great idea, just a bit hard to use

Excellent massage and heat
Easy to use and loosens up the knots in my back and thighs. Also works 10x better than spa rocks.
