The quality of these BlueRigger Banana Plugs is outstanding. They easily accommodated my 12-gauge speaker cables, and the dual-screw design is far better than other designs I've used in the past. For the price, their value is exceptional. I recommend them without reservation.

These work really good. Would rather use these than trying to shove the wire into the side holes

Good value for the price.Note that if you solder too thick the wire, the inner screw may not go down all the way and you won't be able to fit the outer cover.

Simple installation with my Leatherman or smallscrewdriver.

Fragile, as in breakable, not fra-gi-le like in Christmas Story. The barrel that must be loosened to access the screws to attach wire is too tight. So, I thought an easy enough fix: I'll use some pliers; turns out this was a bad idea as the banana contact portion broke off. It is very weakly pressed into place, which also leads me to believe the audio connection might be compromised either immediately or after a few connections have been made. I'll add to this review if I find that to be the case once my new amp is hooked up. Also the bananas come expanded (in order to make a positive connection) but when you slide the barrel past the banana portion it collapses the banana to the point that they need to be re-expanded post assembly which means you risk breaking them off again. Finally, I am worried that the pressure exerted by the weight of the cable will cause the banana to break off inside an amp or speaker just as removing the banana from a device might leave the banana end remaining in the gear. Not recommended and buyer beware.
