Even though i have not tried other brands , after going through 1 jar…. i will ONLY be buying this brand. Used in cooking and made my own face lotion using this. VERY SMOOTH AND 100% HIGH QUALITY.

I bought this for my body skin. I also do apply to my face from time to time. I'm in my mid 60s.PROS:1. Super hydrating. I've tried tons of different creams from different countries, but this makes my skin look so much smoother and less wrinkled than anything else. Particularly the inside of my arms near my shoulders. You know, that area that once you get to a certain age, you don't want to go sleeveless. Really makes my skin look and feel great.2. Grass fed suet tallow is loaded with lots of great nutrients. Omega 3’s, stearic acid, and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), vitamins A, D, E, K2, B12 and choline. Skin is our largest organ and is a great way to absorb those nutrients. It just feels good when I smear it on. I'm mostly vegan, and this is a great way to supplement these nutrients without eating meat.3. A little goes a long way. For use as skin cream, it's a great price.Potential CONS:1. Smells like beef. Not an overwhelming or bad smell, but it's there. Definitely does not smell rancid. If a beef smell is an issue for you or someone you live with, you might not like it. I've thought about adding lavender essential oil, but don't really feel the need. No one has noticed the smell on me.2. Best to apply with time to let it soak in. Then I rub off any excess before dressing. Having said that, I have yet to have it stain or mark an item of clothing.It's a great skin care item.Adding an edit: After using for a week, really is great skincare!

This tallow is very good quality, excellent for cooking with no order.

If I didn’t consume so much tallow this would be the only brand I would order. But I have to buy in bulk from another seller for economic reasons. But I prefer this one for eating right out of the jar. It’s the best and I have used at least ten other brands. What determines a good tallow is a fairly subjective thing. This tallow is solid and very creamy at room temperature but denser than whipped tallow. In my experience that is unusual for suet tallow. The other pure suet tallows I’ve tried were gritty. Note that suet fat is higher in nutrients than fat from other parts of the cow. This also has a mild beefy odor, even milder taste and is close to white in color with a tinge of yellow/beige.

I bought for making my own face cream. No obvious smell. Easy to melt and mix with other oils. Will buy from again.

I just made whipped tallow moisturizer/body butter and it came out great! I also used it for cooking and it's perfect. So much better than a seed oil, of course, but also avocado or olive oil due to it's high oxidation threshold! I used to use the brand Epic Tallow before-- not good. It was yellow and looking grainy, the fat would liquify at room temp and really smell like beef fat. I did not know how bad Epic was until I tried this amazing one because it is more white, stays solid at room temp, doesn't add a potent beef fat taste to my food and feels so much better in my skin care products I make! 10/10 recommend

the tallow is amazing. i love the fact that is in a glass jar. i don’t like the fact that it isn’t sealed, so removed one star.

I've been buying my own suet and rendering it when I can find it. Nothing like suet for the nutritional stearic acid source. This brand is already done for me, creamy, light beefy flavor, white and beautiful. You can keep it at room temperature once opened. I add it to my bone broth every day and put it in my coffee in the morning.comes in a glass jar that is firmly placed in a box for safe shipping. This is my first order and will definitely buy again.
