The Best Iâve Tried!
Iâve tried so many different hay holders for my bunnies, over the years. Theyâve all had weaknesses and frustrated me. I bought these as a last resort and I canât believe I finally found something that works in every way! As simple as they are, they work the best! They hold a generous amount of hay. The hay stays in the holder and doesnât make a mess. Itâs easy to adjust the size openings so the bunnies can get the hay out, without having to yank it too hard. (It shouldnât be too easy to get the hay out. You want to keep them busy but not have to pull so hard, they wonât bother. Hay is bunny essential!) They can even chew on the smooth wood. Win/Win!!

Works great
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Works just as needed. I like that you can just hang it on the side of the cage or clamp it on it needed. However, my guinea pig doesn't use it. He'll just beg and beg until I put hay in his litter box. I was trying to avoid constantly changing ALL OF THE hay, but oh well.

Happy Rabbits Happy Home
This is the best hay feeder for the wire cage I purchased which was the largest with a plastic smooth bottom. Wish I had known I would have saved money and grief from the experience of what really works and doesn't. Rabbits really need the rails to go vertical where smaller mammals can use the horizontal rails. Really cannot lose with this hay feeder, it is cheap and worth it once put together, they even send additional side wall in case you have secret beavers. I did have to push in a rail to fit the hook but once the hooks are on the rail no more problems. Feed the hay from the open top. I actually ordered another hay feeder for my other even larger cage am so impressed with the ease and simplicity of the design.

Some of the poles wouldnât screw in !!
Two of the poles wouldnât screw on tightly once I did get it to kinda of stay together within a few days the 2 poles fell out completely now thereâs a big gap and hay everywhere! The poles wonât stay together Arg! But my chins love this hay feeder but hesitant to order again

Itâs ok
Not the best quality and some how the bottom got dirty but itâs not bad just a little scared their heads could get stuck in it because I heard other hay feeders got humors pigs head stuck in them..đ

Love this
Pro: I absolutely love this item! It is so wonderful!! My pigs crawl into the feeder and eat from the top down! đ itâs so funny! They are small enough to get in and out. The space in the bars is quite large.Con: I do have a hard time hanging it straight and over the âlitter pan/boxâ. It seems to lean back. Not a big deal⌠just makes it hard to latch it on the bars and I am worried I will break the little wood hooks. Also I feel like the wood hooks would be nice if there was another option⌠maybe two holes where the hooks are so if the hooks break you could also zip tie the feeder to your cage.Overall- I would say itâs solid- with potential to break if you try to bend the woodAppearance- it looks nice, bigger than youâd expect (or bigger than I expected)Ease of cleaning- well⌠I have just used disinfectant wipes to clean it so far. I leave it to dry for a few hours and then fill it again. Seems to do the job. I never soak it. Doesnât seem to stink. And like I said my girls crawl right in the feeder!Versatility- Iâm not sure what this is asking exactly⌠it canât be used in a lot of different ways. I suppose you could put it down and use it as a ground feeder if you wanted to?

Looks nice but hah falls out easier
Build is easy, design is good but the hay falls right out if itâs too short. My pigs struggle to reach the top/in between the bars. Easy to clean but still lets hay fall out- functionality is okay depending on what youâre looking for. Definitely need two since the size is smaller (if you have two pigs like me). Putting the feeder on the cage is difficult also, tricky to fit the screws between cage bars and screw on tight enough to not move.

Why did the purposely omit the words âassembly requiredâ?
The media could not be loaded. The post failed to mention the word âassemblyâ in any way shape or form. Which would be nice for any buyer to know ahead of time. Even the video attached insinuated that it was ready to use/install. It mentions âinstructionsâ in the same sentence as âinstall â. However, installing refers to placing on the inclosure. Why be so ambiguous? People need to know. â easy to use.â Does not mean it is easy to assemble.. very tricky wording.
