I just took out some faux locs (I braid them in like individuals) and had a ton of build-up. I usually use watered-down apple cider vinegar (ACV) or watered-down conditioner to help work out the build-up. This pre-wash has ACV but the scent isn’t nearly as strong as the mix I use (a plus, I can’t stand the smell). With that being said, it doesn’t break up build-up as well as a mix of water and ACV, but this pre-wash helped retain moisture better. It’s oily, which helps with slip and detangling much better than the ACV or conditioner pre-washes I’ve used.I like the pointed applicator bottle, it makes it easy to target where I need the product and reach my scalp. I wish it had a top to cap it off, I knocked it over a few times in the shower.

Before washing my hair I used to use oil ,but ever since I found this product I no longer have to use oil.Honestly this product is a definitely a game changer I highly recommend it with no doubts.

This shampoo is heavily moisturizing but still leaves curls light and bouncy by the end of your wash. I have 4a/4b hair and this product will be a staple for me from now on.

I have thick coarse but straight hair. It's difficult to grow longer than my shoulders without it getting dry at the ends so I try lots of conditioners and other products to help keep it soft and healthy as long as possible.This is a nice leave in conditioner, good consistency, doesn't feel thin, but also doesn't weigh my hair down or leave it feeling like I forgot to rinse well enough. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering, It also doesn't linger too long. My hair feels soft after using.I'm not sure it works any better than any other product I've used, but it certainly isn't worse. You get a lot of product, and I think the price per ounce ends up being about what I'd pay for my favorite serums/protectants.

This is the best detangler I have ever used! I have thick 4b/4c hair that always gets tangled regardless of my hairstyle ( perm, natural, etc.). So this right here is a game changer.
