Excellent book for new mums
As a new mum of twins, I knew it would be hard but this boom helped ease a lot of my anxiety. After reading it I felt so empowered, understood, and confident in parts of my life I thought I wouldn't be. Not only has it helped me become a better and more present mother it's also helped mine and my husbands relationship when navigating such a huge change in our lives. Would recommend to anyone who is finding the transition into motherhood confusing/hard/stressful.

The new ‘Motherhood Bible’
Motherkind, is a transformative guide that dives deep into the complex realities of modern motherhood. Drawing from her extensive experience as a transformational coach and host of the popular Motherkind podcast, Zoe offers a compassionate and practical approach to help mothers navigate the overwhelming pressures they face today. I love how it doesn't sugarcoat the challenges of motherhood. Instead, validates the struggles many mothers experience, such as guilt, exhaustion, and the constant feeling of not being "good enough."As a huge fan the Motherkind Podcast - I love how she uses insights from over 60 experts, including well-known names like Dr. Gabor Maté and Dr. Becky Kennedy, to offer practical tools and advice. The advice to ditch the pursuit of "balance" in favor of setting boundaries feels both refreshing and liberating. She encourages us to shift our focus from unattainable perfection to self-compassion and personal empowerment, which is a message that resonates deeply in our perfection-driven culture.Overall, Motherkind is more than just another parenting book; it’s an empowering manifesto for mothers seeking to reclaim their sense of self while navigating the demands of modern life. Whether you’re a new mother or someone who has been on this journey for a while, Zoe’s wisdom offers something valuable for everyone.

Amazing, inclusive book!
This book should be given to every new parent, it is amazing! Zoe managed to break down every feeling and concern I had during the first few years of motherhood. It also feels inclusive to adoptive parents and those with children with additional needs - it's about the universal experience of being a parent regardless of how that happened for you. I absolutely loved this book and will be definitely buying it for all new parents I know in the future! Zoe's writing makes you feel like you're not alone in struggling with parenting at times and the complex feelings that come up. It also gives you so much hope in the future and reassurance that being a parent is tough but ultimately, a worthwhile journey with huge rewards (even if my house is a mess and there's yogurt in my hair!).

Essential
this is the book we all need to read, re-read, read to our partners, share with our friends and our mothers. I usually struggle with keeping focused on non fiction books, this one is different, it’s so personal and touches you on every page, Ive actually never read a book in such a slow pace because I want to soak it all in, have a little cry, allow it to just be there before continuing to the next chapter. it’s for every stage of parenthood. thank you so much, Zoe!

Amazing!
An absolute must have for mums of all generations. I felt seen and heard for the first time since having my daughters, it is truly incredible! I nodded and cried my way through the first part of the book thinking oh my gosh, it’s me! Zoe has a fantastic way of making you feel as though she’s talking to you as you’re reading which is so comforting. The topics discussed in this book should be shared in schools/colleges/universities across the country! There will be mums (and dads) out there who have the same feelings of uncertainty about parenthood - this is the book of all books, particularly with regard to post natal mental health and wellbeing. Definitely recommend!
