Maintaining a clean litter box is a top priority. This litter is wonderful, although more expensive than regular kitty litter. I started using PetSafe ScoopFree Premium Crystal Cat Litter several years ago when I had the automated PetSafe Litter Box. 6 months ago I advanced to the Whiskers Litter-Robot 4. I could not find any information on using PetSaafe crystals in the litter-robot, so I tried it. it works perfectly!The crystal litter technology is great! Instead of dealing with clumping clay or dusty pellets, the ScoopFree litter utilizes highly absorbent crystal beads that efficiently lock in moisture and odors and the crystals are virtually dust-free, making it safer. There's no scooping required. The automatic drum turns and dumps the waste into a covered compartment, leaving the litter box clean and odor-free for weeks at a time. This has been wonderful convience for me. I just pull out the waste drawer and throw the sack of waste away every few days. After 4 weeks, I press the empty button and dump all the old litter into the sack in the waste drawer, throw it away and put in new crystal litter. Because the drum empties the waste periodically throughout each day, the litter does get a little low and so do add some extra litter to the existing litter a couple times a month.I highly recommend the PetSafe ScoopFree Premium Crystal Cat Litter. Does well with the scoop free litterbox. Low dust, no clump. With 2 cats that have very regular bathroom visits, I change it twice a month and it seems pretty good. Odor control is not as good as the crystals and it does still track some but it's much more cost effective than the crystals!

I didn't notice that this litter said non-clumping. It's not great for scooping and it's definitely not low dust. Dust went everywhere when I tried to scoop it. It is also not low-tracking. I'm finding little pieces all over my house despite my litter mats by the cat boxes. I ended up having to dump out the litter boxes altogether and refill them with something else.

I have 2 cats and decide to try this. I also have a dog that loves to get into the kitty litter. I did like that is not so messy to pour into the box. There wasn't a much dust as some. I find that I have less tracking through the house and not much odor. It is fairly simple to clean out the box with a good scoop. I think this is a good product and very comparable for the money.

It also doesn’t clump, so if you’re used to scooping regularly, it can take some getting used to. The 4.2 lb pack size is okay, but depending on usage, you might need to stock up a bit more frequently. It also gets really dusty which is the downside.In summary, this is a solid choice for specific setups like the ScoopFree system and cats that don’t mind non-clumping litter. However, for the price, I’d hope for a bit less tracking.
