I have developed macular degeneration. At the moment I have partial vision. The slightly thicker dark line allows me to make out what I have written. It does not smear while writing. Note: the ink will smudge if it gets wet.

They don't smear and they are great for using everyday.

Comfortable to write with, however the ink ball “jumps” so I have to go back and retrace what I have written.the ink doesn’t last as long as I would have hoped.

Wow. I had never heard of this brand and didn't know what to expect, but I am so impressed!I use pretty basic pens at work and decided I wanted to get myself some gel pens. I ordered these knowing nothing about them, hoping they'd be decent quality.When I first pulled one out of the packaging I was a little concerned because they are clearly an entirely plastic housing and they are incredibly lightweight. Plastic pens are nothing new, but for whatever reason, pens with more weight to them just create the illusion of higher quality (at east to me). As a result of that thinking, I initially wasn't sure how much I was going to like them. And then I clicked the pen open, removed the little protective ball on the tip, and began to write....All I can say is WOW. These pens write SO smoothly. The ink is bold, the 0.7 line is a great thickness, and these pens are smoooooth. So smooth that I got out a 2x more expensive gel pen that I recently purchased to compare. Because after writing with this "loddie doddie" pen, I couldn't imagine how anything could write smoother, but I knew that the expensive pens I got last week were unbelievably smooth as well. If it weren't for being able to tell which barrel was in my hand, I can honestly say I couldn't tell you which pen was which based on how well they write. There is no skipping, no clumping, no bleedthrough, and best of all..NO SMEARING! This is wonderful for everyone, but especially for a left handed person.I am so darn happy with these pens that I want to use them for everything. I mentioned at the beginning of the review that I bought these for work. And I did....and most of them will still be heading there, but I decided to keep a few at home, as I want to use them all the time!Well done, Loddie Doddie! 10/10 recommendation from me!

I think there are better options than this version. It didn’t have a slick gel glide like I expected a pen like this to have.

The medium point is just small enough to let you write a lot but big enough for you to see easily and the pen flows really well. I haven't had any issues with the ones I've been using so far so I'd definitely give this the go ahead and recommend it. This is probably best for just straight note taking or writing so get it when you can and use it yourself or gift one to someone.

A Lodi Dodi is slang for a Hot Girl! Lottie Doddies are a great name for these pens. The fine point writes so smooth on any type of paper, with no bleeding or smearing. But it's the feel that made them for me. I am a writer with arthritis, and I'm constantly in search of pens with comfortable grips. These pens get out of the way, and let you do your thing. The material on the base is silky feeling, with a expanded comfort grip. And best of all, the gel ink is safer for checks and contract signing. They beat the more expensive pens by a long shot.
