The Naturium Salicylic Acid Serum 2% works wonders for my skin. The combination of salicylic acid and maltobionic acid clears blemishes without causing irritation. The serum is lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin clearer and smoother. It’s a great addition to my skincare routine!

I have been using this product for months now and I will continue to use it. Ever since I have been using this product and other Naturium products my face has never looked better.

Would I get it again or recommend it and why: Maybe if your skin is not very sensitive, for myself no.-It's a good Salicylic acid serum with great ingredients and fragrance free. However, it is quite strong and may not be okay for those with sensitive skin.-I did find that it stung my skin a little bit and was a touch irritating due to the strength of the formula. It's not the gentlest formulation for sacylic acid. I'd consider it fairly strong. I tolerate sacylic acid, but this felt strong and did sting and irritate somewhat compared to others.-It's a good option, but the price per ounce isn't the least expensive option, but more mid-ranged, for a Salicylic acid serum. But it is very nice and well formulated.Size: 1 ounce (30 ML)Ingredients:-Active Ingredient: Salicylic Acid 2.0%-Inactive Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Propanediol, Sodium Polyacrylate, Maltobionic Acid, Amorphophallus Konjac Root Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Phytate, Sodium Hydroxide, Xanthan Gum.Checking the ingredients in both Paula Begoun's and Incidecoder's skincare ingredient encyclopedia turned up no problematic ingredients. There were no added fragrances, irritating alcohols or problematic ingredients. The ingredients are listed as skin-friendly and recognized as good ingredients.Major ingredients by function:-Anti-acne: Salicylic Acid (2.0%)-Exfoliant: Salicylic Acid (2.0%)-Soothing: Salicylic Acid (2.0%)-Moisturizer/humectant: Propanediol, Amorphophallus Konjac Root Extract, Caprylyl GlycolContainer:-It comes in a blue opaque non see through pump bottle.-Be careful, it was tricky to get the lid off. It lifts off it doesn't twist off. If you try to twist it off, you remove the lid and the pump and open the bottle.-The opaque bottle with a pump does protect the product from bacteria, light and air-all of which degrade skincare products and ingredients.Formulation and Application:-Fragrance free with no added perfume, fragrance, essential oils or fragrant plant extracts. I could detect no scent at all from the natural ingredients. This is safe for those sensitive to scents and fragrances.-It is a clear liquid serum. It's quite liquidy and thin vs serum or gel.-One pump should treat your entire face. Remember this is not going to likely be your only or final moisturizer, you don’t need or want to over apply it.-It is very low to minimal on the moisture level and moisturization. Only those with very oily skin will find this moisturizing enough to use by itself. Those with oily, normal to dry skin will likely want to add an additional moisturizer over this.-It is fairly strong for a sacylic acid product. I tolerate a lot of products in this percentage range, but this one did sting and burn a bit. It may be too strong for sensitive skin. It was not comfortable on my skin vs others that are comfortable.Pros:-Good ingredients that are skincare science based and good for both acne and exfoliation.-Fragrance free with no detectable scent.-Protected from light, air and bacteria by an opaque non see-through pump bottle.-Gluten free (printed on the carton)-Cruelty free (printed on the carton)Cons:-They did not print the ingredients on the bottle, just the outer container. I had to clip them and put them on the bottle with a clear hair elastic.-This is a mid-ranged product price per ounce. It's a good formula, but it's not the least expensive option.-May not be safe for those with sensitive skin. I tolerate and regularly use other sacylic acid products in this percentage and I found this one sensitizing. It stung and burned on my skin quite a bit more than others.Final Thoughts: This is a fragrance-free, well formulated fairly strong sacylic acid liquid serum. It may be too strong for sensitive skin. There are other options that are more gentle on sensitive skin. Most people will need to add an additional moisturizer over this.

This brand does wonders for my face. Packaged good.
