Bought specifically for longevity, only time will tell on that. So far, I love it!
I have been through 6 or 7 dehumidifiers over just the past 11 years. None have lasted more than around a year, with some failing sooner. In every case they failed due to refrigerant leaks. When buying this latest one, I did a bunch of research before pulling the trigger and settled on this one specifically based on their claim that these are '[...] designed for No-Worry use for at least 5 years under normal transport conditions.' I'd say our use is very much 'normal', yet none have lasted long. They mention the type of compressor they use as well as using thickened, 7mm pure copper tubing. In addition to all that, the 3-year full-coverage and 5-year compressor warranties give me peach of mind that if the unit does fail, they will replace it with a new unit - new, not repaired or refurbished. The most important thing for me is a unit to works well and lasts so I don't have to keep buying new ones (what a waste of money and stuff ending up in landfills.)Beyond the above, the unit itself is awesome! It is by far the quietest I've owned when running on the 'low' fan speed'. The 'high' speed is substantially louder, but it's not an obnoxious noise - just the sound of air blowing. The compressor is extremely quiet. The controls are all backlit and very easy to read. Operation is simple. It has modes for maintaining a set humidity level, continuous, and an 'AI Auto' mode, which I believe adjusts humidity between 45%-55% based on temperature. It sets it lower when the room is warmer and higher when it's cooler. You can also adjust the lighting to one of four modes; 'off' (only turns on for around 10 seconds when you touch the control panel, 'bright - with the ambient light that shows humidity level', 'bright', and 'dim'.The unit is very compact; the smallest I've seen for this capacity rating. The water tank is also small, but I'm using continuous draining into a condensate pump, so I don't care about the internal tank. It comes with several feet of plastic tubing for this purpose. It's still pretty heavy, about the same as any other unit I've owned, but it has wheels and concealed handles for easy movement. We're using this in our fully finished, insulated garage that gets very humid in the Georgia summers. We have a lot of things stored in there and want to keep the humidity level moderate. Plus, we have our workout equipment in there and it's much more comfortable to work out in lower humidity. All things considered, so far, I love everything about this unit and I'm praying it really does last as long as they say it will. I feel confident in its quality build and even more confident in their warranty, which is the best I've seen for a dehumidifier, without having to purchase an extended warranty. For these reasons, I highly recommend this product.

Running fine pulling water out of thin air
I bought this dehumidifier fully aware that it can pull about 25 pints of water out of air per day based on latest standard and the numbers on the Energy Star's website, which is less than half of what they advertised. The main selling points I like are the efficiency, quietness and 3-year warranty.I received it yesterday and as it was delivered laying sideways, I gave it 24 hours standing time before starting running it. (I suspect that a lot of reviewers who reported problems because they didn't wait for the compressor oil to drift back to the right place after shipping). How it turned out?1. It is very quite even at high fan speed. The low speed is even quieter, just huming which I don't expect to use though.2. Seems to be efficient. My old 50 pint 7 year old Dehumidier was running all day long with about 480W and barely able to maintain 55%. This only took about 4 hours to reduce RH from 60% to 55% for a 1200sqf basement. Then it entered a 15min on and 5min off cycle, using only 280W when on. My estimates are that it will save me $100-150 every year in electricity3. 3-year warranty is a plus. Most other dehumidifiers have 1 year, and some have 2 years. This will give me some peace of mind.4. Garden hose drainage. I cut a foot long out of the given plastic hose and connected it to a garden hose using the included adapter. So far no leak. The garden hose is about 10 feel long and ended up in a small water pump shared with the main AC.All in all, I recommend this product at the moment. Will update if I run into problems.

So far it’s excellent
It’s early on. Time will tell. But so far this dehumidifier works really well. Bought it to replace an old GE model that was starting to become loud and not work so well.First of all the unit has a nice clean design, simple and effective controls and the build quality seems solid.Secondly, it really is quiet. This is way quieter than the old one it’s replacing, even when that one was new. For sure the most quiet one I’ve ever owned. I have a finished basement and sometimes I’d need to shut down my dehumidifier to watch movies, especially late at night. With this unit, it’s essentially about as loud as a normal fan, with a slight steady hum. You almost don’t know it’s a dehumidifier that’s running. Totally unobtrusive. It also isn’t putting out as much heat as the old one it’s replacing.I have it draining to my sump pump well with the provided hose and it’s pulling plenty of water. There’s no question the basement is more comfortable now. It’s definitely effective in the 1100sqft space.Again, time will tell on the longevity. To be fair, most store bought units are hit or miss anyway, and they aren’t made by the company whose name bagdge is on it. I was happy to get 4 years or so out of my old unit, and I’d be glad to get the same from this. I will say I wish it had a remote or some type of WiFi but to be fair that’s not really a huge deal and it’s not as though it claims to have one.Overall I’d recommend trying this one out. I was skeptical as I didn’t know the name but I’ve had some decent luck now with a lot of these Amazon brands. It’s a nice looking, quiet and effective unit.

Compressor failure in less than 8 month. They did contact me and sent a new one...
Purchased in sep 29 2024 worked great for a few month. Had to empty tank every day. Looked good at first. got humidity down. now back up to 75% unit running but not filling tank at all. Its now may 6 2025. I had it checked. I was told by a service guy that the compressor Run about 20min then stopes because it is so hot . It stopes because its overheated It cant restart. Compressor is shot. Better to through away and call it a lesson learned.... Update. Aeocky Contacted me and sent me a new unit to replace the one that failed. Its in place and working. Time will tell now. Cant complain about the service. They contacted me to send me a new one.
