Look elsewhare for good service
Too bad there's not a negative rating. I searched for 12 TB SATA hard drives and this was the top response. I ordered two for a USB enclosure that I was planning. I received the drives but did not use them right away. When I did, I tried to insert them in the enclosure and neither would engage teh connector. Upon closer view the connector is NOTR a SATA connector. When I contacted the seller, they had me send THEM photos of the connectors. I was informed too bad and I now have two drives that are as worthless as a politician's promise.

Check the Warranty
This product page links to Seagate's 5-year warranty. However, I checked the warranty on Seagate's website for the drive I received in Jan 2025 and it's warranty expires later in 2025, less than a year warranty. I requested a refund.Check the warranty when you receive the drive.
