Stay safe while having fun
Although the law in California requires bars to provide drink spiking tests to patrons, the same isn't true for dorm and house parties. Each wrist strap has four tests on it. Testing a drink for substances is as easy as dipping my finger in the drink, then touching one of the test dots. In as little as 10 seconds, the test will provide and easy to read result. The black cardstock wristband attaches with a simple adhesive tab. It looks similar to the type of wristband given out at concerts or venues where wristbands are used to indicate legal drinking age.

misleading description was fixed
when I had purchased this item the description said the product tested for ghb & ketamine. when I got it it was only for ghb. I went back on to see if I made a mistake cause I looked at several of them & specifically wanted 1 test for both. I got busy with school stuff & forgot to leave review. glad to see company changed the description but test doesnt work with all drinks. theres a list you have to look at online & plain water gives same result as a positive test which is also kinda weird. anyways I had something that needed to be tested & I did the test 3x. I got conflicting results so had to get another product that tests for both chemicals, which hasnt arrived yet. I dont know bout the whole bracelet thing it would be very easy for someone to tamper with it by splilling water on you or a drink or when washing your hands in bathroom. its also quite easy to rip off as its only paper. I think theres better ways to do a test for this. yrs ago they used to make a color changing nail polish you could get in 2 or 3 diff colors that would work for 1 night & dip finger in drink & it would change to a certain color if drink was positive. regular water wouldnt effect it only detection of drugs. sadly cant find that anywhere now.

They fall apart
The idea of this is great, but when you wet it with your finger it's paper so it falls apart. Also when you wet it, it immediately turns blue (means your drink was spiked) but you have to wait for it to dry to see the actual color. So that's the reason for the one star. It should be made out of a different material.

Important to have
Made in USA.It's unfortunate that this kind of product is necessary, but it absolutely is necessary. The wristbands are like the kind you get at a concert or festival, so this will fit right in on your arm in the kind of place where you really ought to have it. I'd recommend sealing it with a loose enough fit that you can remove the band and use it again if you don't end up testing all four spots in one outing. The process is incredibly easy and only takes a few drops of your drink to wet the testing spot. Use a straw or even just your finger to dab some of the drink onto the testing spot. then watch for it to change color. I recommend this product to every college student, festival goer, clubber, or app-based dater.

Sad that we have to think about testing drinks, but better safe than sorry
This item is a GHB (roofie) detector wristband. It's a sad state of affairs when this is something we have to think about. Anyhow, the big issue I have is that I can't verify that the wristband actually works. You can test it with water to see if non-GHB liquid show negative (and it does), but that's not a mixed cocktail. And I can't test with GHB. This is an issue for all these roofie test products and not this version alone. Not being able to test properly aside, each wristband has 8 tests on it. How do you expect the tests to stay dry when you are in a club environment and using the bathroom? I think they should be individual strips in something like a matchbook. You take one out and use it, put the rest back in the purse until the next drink. I like the concept of the wristband and it may work better than I think in a real environment so I can't be too harsh. I do think it's sold a a reasonable price point for 16 tests. I also think having this test wristband is better than not testing at all.
