Very handy pliers that does tough jobs with ease
Having right tool for the job is very important. I used this for plumbing work around the house, like replacing faucets or fittings like bidet or hand shower. It gets in tight spaces, has good grip and gets the job done. Plumbers are expensive and this little tool has saved me money on small jobs for which plumbers would have charged a bomb.

Just doesn't feel a Stanley
Selected a new Amazon seller while ordering this product, as Cloudtail had listed it for a higher price.Well Stanley surprises me. It blows hot and cold. Some products have been pretty good like the tape measure, open ended ring spanner. While some other items that I bought ( after reading rave reviews here) have failed to impress - Tester, Long nose plier. And now this 10" pump plier is giving me mixed feelings. Just doesn't seem alright. Honestly didn't even feel it was a genuine Stanley product ( since I had ordered it from some newly listed seller ) . I wonder if it can take the abuse of being abused for years to come.1.The polymer grips at the handles seem very flimsy and mostly likely chip or whither away being tossed around in grimy tool boxes.2. The black color just seems to be sprayed over. I already see it getting scratched off around the pivot point. ( Is it some wiseguy idea by Stanely to prevent rust between factory and the customer's hands. The long nose Stanley plier would happily rust away in the tool box. )3. The metal just doesn't feel right. It feels just too stiff and brittle for a plier. ( I am yet to test it in real life conditions )4. The grooves just feel a little too wobbly.Another seemingly red flag that bothers me is that this seems to be heavily discounted from it's MRP online, while most other products from Stanley aren't so. So, may be a dud product being offloaded to amateurs, while the professionals might have already called out this product.
