Zaytoun Za'atar Palestinian Herb Blend, 80 g

I've bought supermarket Zatar and there's no comparison - Zaytoun hands down has the best and most authentic flavour - and in purchasing you are supporting small scale Palestinian farmers - Lord knows they need some help!

Bought this to cook some middle Eastern dishes, but quite versatile on roasts too.

Made zaatar manakeesh with this and used it in salads and it’s delicious. Adds a earthy citrus taste and I definitely recommend it

be warned...it's sooo nice, you'll just want more!Impress your guests by serving this with some lightly toasted pitta bread cut into strips then served to dip into some olive oil then dipped into this to make a quick, easy, tasty, exotic, yet accessible starter.Thank you Zaytoun. You're brilliant.

Smells nice, haven't tested it out yet. However it loses a star for being short dated. Was expecting more than 5 months shelf life on a dried herb blend. It's a decent size jar.Update, it's awesome with chicken & makes mouthwatering marinades. Brilliant for the barbecue!

This Zaatar used to be good, indeed. Well, it is not the case anymore. The ingredients seem to be out of date and the thyme flavour is overwhelming. The seller is not responsive at all. It is a shame they did not wished to maintain the same quality which initially was.
