At home cocktail bar
Helps me to have as much of my favourite cocktail as I wish, and much cheaper than in a bar. The taste is good

Great Drink
This is a first for me, never tried Aperol but so many people seem to be enjoying it when I’m out. Love the distinctive orange colour, it’s delicious with the recipe mixers and available at a good price from Amazon.

Taste of genuine Aperol that is served in Torino's oldest cafe
This is the identical, same (howbeit the label is English for UK import) that is served Torino's old and most famous cafes. Mere sight of this bottle transport us to the street of Torino where we sipped this magical drink. Great thing about this drink, is even though it is alcohol, is it not addictive, can be enjoyed all legally adult healthy populations. In making genuine Aperol Spritz, it is importnat to follow the instruction to the letter. Especially, Prosecco need to be carefully chosen. Do not go for cheap Prosecco, and using non-Italy made Prosecco is bad idea. There is subtle difference in taste. Italians use local produce to make their cuisines and drinks. For UK consumers, Bella Cucina may be easy to obtain and good Prosecco (available at major groceries in UK). Orange, also, if possible, get good one. Because the orange slice makes good addition to slightly bitter taste. Those who want to little sweetness, good lemonade will add variation of Aperol Spritz. But do not use cheap lemonade with artificial sweetener. Use naturally sweetened lemonade.Take drinks near the fire place (if winter), or outside if summer, and sit down, with some crisp (Italians do love crisps), and enjoy the drink!

Excellent for Aperol spritz
Like a lot of people out there I've got a real liking for Aperol Spritz over the last year and more. Im not a big fan of sweet cocktails but I find Aperol spritz isn't very sweet. Unfortunately it's very easy for my to drink it. Haha. It's a prosecco based cocktail. I'm not a big fan of p to prosecco or Champagne (I know how strange!). But regardless Aperol spritz tastes great. To make it you have to mix 50:50 of prosecco and Aperol spritz, then just top up with soda water, ice and orange slices for garnish.

Nice!
I have this with tonic and ice, feels like a not so sweet fizzy drink.

Gorgeous Summer sophistication. Saluti!
I never thought I particularly liked rhubarb until I realised that this is one of the primary ingredients in Aperol. This explains the slight bitterness to the taste and it is what makes Aperol (brand owned by the makers of Campari) so distinctive. I suspect that many Brits like me first came across Aperol whilst on holiday in Italy. In my case it was around ten years ago in Tuscany when I noticed that just about every Italian was drinking a certain orange coloured cocktail that caught the light in the square in San Gimignano making them look very stylish and sophisticated. I gesticulated to the waiter and told him "I'll 'ave one o' them per favore" pointing at the Armani wearing couple at the next table. He told me it was Aperol Spritz, a mixture of Aperol, prosecco (Italian champagne), a dash of soda water, a slice of orange and some ice. And it cost ten euros even back then. You can now buy a whole bottle of Aperol for a tenner in the UK and mix it with some cheap prosecco (no need for fancy stuff) and make your own (don't bother with the soda water). And it is lovely and you can pretend you are somewhere exotic like Sienna or Cortona rather than your back yard. SalutI!
