They are really great. They just pop up and down easily. My only issue is once they’re down they’re extremely stiff to close the handle back in.I bought these for my kids so they complain how hard they are to close.Great for adults but not for kids or people without good strength.

Picked this umbrella because of good reviews. Tried to use for first time and wouldn't open! Button seems to be stuck so test out before deciding to keep. Will be returning for refund

I like the size of this umbrella but windproof it is not. I walk to school to pick up my son, it was a little windy, next thing I know it catches under the umbrella and it folds inside out. It's not easy to pull back down either. For the money I expected better but won't recommend to anyone.

The media could not be loaded. I really like this umbrella, with its nifty opening/closing feature it's ideal to keep in my car for the changeable British weather.Yesterday we had rain and 25mph winds so I've been able to give it a thorough test and it held up to the weather with no problem. It's nice that it has a UV protection too which could be useful if you're sensitive to sunlight. It has an elasticated hanging loop on thd handle which is really handy to slip onto your wrist or to store it. I really like the way it folds inward so if it's wet it doesn't drip all over the floor, and the reflective strip around the rim catches the light well so at night it'll help you be visible to cars etc. The open/close buttons are flush in the handle so you won't accidentally collapse it down when holding it which I think is a good design. It pops open and closes down quickly which is ideal for getting in or out of the car and I like that the pole has a ratchet design so if your hands slip it won't snap back up.Overall I think this is a thoughtfully designed and well made umbrella, it's a definite improvement on the usual fare. I'd 100% recommend it.
