Heavy duty connectors
These heavy duty connectors work great on my home speakers.

Slip on contacts.
They look good and might wonk well but I haven’t used them yet since my initial twisted wire pairs were able to work well. I’m saving them for a future project. They can be a bit large so a tight fit may put you off when using them. Very well made.

Good speaker lugs
Let’s face it, banana jacks largely are not secure enough for high end audio equipment. These solved that problem. No crimpers needed or special hex tools. I knocked off one star because instead of 4 pair of connectors (2 speaker cables both ends). You have to buy 6 pair. I could understand anything in groups of 4 or 8 pair, but six is just odd (unless it’s for a center channel on a surround system).

Amazing!
What can I say? These were just amazing banana plugs. I had got a pair of banana plugs from them. A different kind. The ones that stick into the speaker terminal and they were just amazing the best set of banana plugs I've been owned but I want to try a different banana plugs and I did try a few brands and they were pretty decent. But I went to this company and bought three separate pairs of banana plugs. All three different kinds banana plugs gave me a really bad connection and the reason I got them for is cuz I need a stacked full of banana plugs and they were awful. So I got the idea to get some spade banana plugs so that way I can buy wire. I can put in the banana plugs into the terminal and put these spades around the terminal and I didn't want to waste. No more money or time. I'm worthless banana plugs. So I bought this brand of banana plugs because I remember how good that The ones that a banana plugs was from this company and they did not let down. These banana posts are just amazing. I highly recommend them over and over again. It's obvious it don't matter what kind you get from this company. You're definitely get good quality

Excellent option for thicker 9AWG wire and McIntosh binding posts
This is my third pair of spades as I replaced my amp and speakers. The McIntosh MA8950 has thick binding posts and my Supra XL forks and Monster spades weren't wide enough to fit around the posts. These are perfect, and also accepted my thicker 9AWG speaker cable. For cable this thick, follow their recommendation to take about 1/2" off an absolutely clean end, as you'll need that wire as taught as possible. Then feed it through the base, when you hit the smaller opening you'll want to eyeball it from above, then twist as you push forward. This retains as many strands as possible without splaying before it reaches the other side. I ended up re-doing the first two connections after picking up this trick, as it gives the most surface contact with the wire and spade connectors, and the most solid fastening to the cable itself. Well done by Sewell.

Excellent heavy duty spade connectors, works well with 10 to 18 gauge speaker wire
My audio speakers allow 2 options for connecting speaker wire - either wire-wrap or use spade connectors. I decided to go with spade connectors since that provides a cleaner and stronger connection. I looked at several different product options including AudioQuest which many consider the best when it comes to connectors.I decided to give the Swell spade connectors a try since they appeared well made based on my research and significantly easier on my budget. I wasn’t disappointed by my decision. These connectors are very well made and heavy duty, but they are large (see photo) and will not work for all applications due to the space requirements. For example they were too large for my receiver (not enough clearance to accommodate their size), but with a little finesse ended up working well with the binding posts on my speakers (see photo). These connectors will work well with 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 gauge speaker wire using the self crimping teeth which securely fastens the speaker wire to the connector.Connecting your speaker wire to these plugs is pretty straight forward and takes 5 steps:1- Unscrew and remove the bottom cap of the spade connector.2- Strip approximately 13-14 mm (~1/2 inch) of the insulation jacket from the end of the speaker wire exposing the bare copper conductor.3- Feed the bare wire through the bottom hole of the bottom cap until they protrude beyond the teeth of the bottom cap.4- Bend the copper strands of the speaker wire down around the teeth of the bottom cap.5- Screw the top of the connector (the gold plated spade portion) back onto the bottom cap securely.
