doesn't look great but performs great
I don't think that this shaver looks very good, with the text all over it and the strange RPM counter with its jazzy circular bezel BUT the shaving performance is amazing! it shaves close, doesn't pull hairs, has a long lasting battery and charges with my USB-C phone charger.showing how much is left in the battery in minutes is very convenient and all shavers should have it.

Nice close shave
The media could not be loaded. Seems very well made and has a really good heft to it, not a lightweight or cheap feeling. I like the adjustable spinning dial for the control on the front which is neat. comes with a nice brush and storage bag Everything looks really nice and feels like it's high quality. My only slight complaint is it's just so noisy It is much louder than any of the other electric shavers I've had before. But functionality wise I felt like it gave a really close shave, I have PCOS and struggle with thick black beard hairs and this has been doing a good job keeping them trimmed so I don't have to constantly try to pluck.

A well built, decent electric shaver.
Gave this a good workout today. 4 days growth (I wouldn't normally use an electric when I've left it for this long) and this razor got the job done quickly and easily with a great finish.Very impressed with it, and I think at £70 it's reasonably priced when compared to the normal European brands.Come nicely packaged and has a storage bag and a usb C cable to charge with.Good battery life, and a great display, which surrounded by a movable bezel that allows you to reduce the speed from 9000 rpm down to 7000 rpm in stages. And this is why it it could lose one star!Everytime you touch the speed adjuster ring, even accidently, the razor beeps to confirm it's changed the speed. And that beep is really annoying. No need for it and spoils a brilliant product. So in use 5 stars, build quality, 5 stars battery, 5 stars, package 5 stars and value 5 stars, but the beep gets no stars!I think once I'm using it daily I'll know to avoid this part of the razor! So overall a solid device with one minor annoyance.

No replacement foils available
The media could not be loaded. My husband has always preferred to use a foil shaver and I thought that this rechargeable VGR 378 shaver would be ideal for him.The shaver is presented in a smart box that also includes a Type-C USB charging cable, a storage pouch, and a cleaning brush. My husband is impressed with the close shave that this shaver produces but he did find that he kept touching the rotary dial that alters the shaving speed, which is annoying for him.For me, the biggest negative point is that you are unable to obtain replacement foils, so this shaver will only be any good for as long as the current foil doesn’t get damaged. The foils can easily be removed, so I had assumed that there would be new foils available to purchase. With this in mind, I think that the current price of £59.99 might end up being a very expensive purchase for what I now consider to be a disposable item.My husband has decided to keep this shaver for taking on holiday with him, so it won’t get used as much as he had planned (and therefore should last longer). That also means that he can leave his more expensive shaver safely at home when we go away.
