My little boy loves this book!
I have a 4 year old little boy who is Autistic and has learning difficulties. It's very hard to keep his attention on something for very long. But he loves this book! He never let's me read to him and has brought me this book numerous times to read to him. He loves the rhymes and the different ways to open the flaps. A very good purchase.

Brilliant book
Fantastic book!! My 3 year old has always loved lift the flap books but a lot of them don’t have much of a story or they are the opposite and are tiny flimsy flaps in books that just don’t grab her interest. I came across this one on amazon and thought we would try it, I am so glad I did! It is very cleverly done so you can lift the flaps either way to get a different surprise, its bold, colourful and durable. I would definitely recommend for under 5’s.

The best lift-the-flap book for endless hilarity
Shark in the Park introduced me, and my son, to the offbeat, surreal and zany delights of Nick Sharratt. Since then , we have been gradually expanding our collection of books by this author: What's in the Witch's Kitchen is the best we have read to date - a book of lift-the-flap choices with 'magic' transformations if you change your mind.Everyone has their favourite feature in it! My son loves the pop-up ending (I won't say what or it's a spoiler!), and my nephew loves the washing-machine piranhas. Older children have been delighted by the mild, silly toilet-humour in substituting sweets for rabbit droppings. It's a winner for all ages. Not only this, but it continues to spark long, excited discussions about why there might be piranhas in the washing-machine, and who would really drink goblin's wee! It's currently my toddler's favourite book, and mine. Definitely the best in its genre since Pienkowski's classic Haunted House -in fact, on a level with it, for sheer fun, artistic value, and longevity.

My 6 year old twins loved this book
This is a slight twist on the normal pop up book. My boys were amazed with the two pictures on the pages and wanted to know how it was done. They loved the rhymes too. The witch at the end was a nice surprise for them.
