WORKS GREAT FOR MY 12 YEAR OLD PUG.
My 12 year old pug has arthritis. Her quality of life is much improved since switching to aspirin. We had her on chewable Rimadyl. It made her very aggressive to our other smaller younger pug. I did some research and decided on this brand of dog aspirin. She has been on one in the morning and another in the evening for the last six months or so. I either put it in a pill pocket or some type of soft treat. She would probably take it without the pill pocket or treat, she is a pug and they will eat practically anything. I just feel better giving her aspirin with a little food. My vet said that dogs should be off of other pain type meds for 48 hours before starting on this aspirin. I followed that guideline and she has had no stomach issues at all. I feel much better knowing her pain is controlled. She is much more active and runs around with the other dogs. I have worked hard to maintain her at a normal weight her entire life. Hopefully that and her aspirin will keep her going a few more years at least.

Great pain reliever and an even better price.
I bought this for my 12 lb chihuahua who needed it as a supplement to some medication he was on. He loves the flavor (mixed with a little peanut butter) and I can tell it really helps his mobility.

Works well for controlling pain!
My dog suffered a back injury unexpectedly and I currently live overseas where vet care isn't the greatest. I came prepared with any every medication my family vet gave me during my time here, except pain meds. I quickly did some research and saw that dogs can take small doses of aspirin. A friend happened to have these Nutri-Vet Aspirin for dogs and I gave it a try. It worked really well at helping with my dog's pain and helped him relax enough to recover from his injury. I gave him zantac equivalent with each dose and made sure he took the meds with food to prevent any stomach problems. I found that if he didn't eat when taking the aspirin he would just throw it up. Also, my dog didn't like the taste and wouldn't eat these, so I still had to hide them in cheese or some other form of treats. He made a full recovery and I made sure to order a new bottle of these to have on hand just in case anything like that happens in the future!

This was a Must for my Baby
I have a 10 year old Chi/Pom sometimes he he issues with his back and legs. He is getting old and sometime when he jumps off the couch or comes up the steps he seem to pull something. He also has belly issues and in pain a lot. I have got a lot of things from the vet and on Amazon nothing would work. Well last night he took a good fall off the couch and was not feeling good I gave him half a pill last night and half this morning and he is like new and feeling much better. I would say if you have a bay that has ANY KIND OF PAIN this is something you should have on hand at all times and yes it really works!

THIS SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN TO A PET WITH LIVER OR KIDNEY PROBLEMS. I just want to say I am sure this is an awesome product for the right circumstances but there was no cautioning in the description on the liver and kidney problems. My dog has had a liver condition for 6 years and she is 11 now and she is starting to have more pain in her little body then when she was younger. I tried this product based off the great reviews. After her first dose she couldn't walk the next morning. My husband tried to get her out of her bed and she nipped at him....and she is not one to nip at anyone. When you would stand her up she would collapse. This effect lasted for the whole day she got better later in the afternoon. Although on the bottle the cautions are on there it was covered by the barcode label and I didn't think to peel it off and look at it until the damage was already done. I got some information from petMD this was some of what it says:One of the first noticeable signs is loss of appetite. Other signs include vomiting, diarrhea, and intestinal hemorrhage brought on by ulceration in the stomach and small intestines. The central nervous system is affected and the dog may have trouble walking, appear weak and uncoordinated, or even collapse. Loss of consciousness and sudden death can also occur. So please just be cautious I learned a very hard lesson and caused the little pet I love so much a lot of grief. I will post a pic of the back of the bottle but I hope that the seller will update the information. They are accepting my return but I just want everyone to know that there are some precautions to take while using this product.

It works
I can’t believe the difference it has made for my little Shih Tzu. He’s 15 years old and has arthritis and hip issues. No kidding, he’s in a much better mood and is able to get up the steps by himself. The only con about it is he doesn’t like the taste. I have to crush them and hide them in his food. But I will gladly do that for his comfort.

Definitely works!
Worked for my mini pin who hurt her leg. Started providing pain relief within the hour I gave it to her, she went from lying down whimpering and not eating to running around the house in good spirits. Be careful and follow dosage instructions because it does cause minor temporary stomach upset. I also got the aspirin for large dogs and it worked well when my large dog fractured his toe/foot, but same issue with the minor temporary stomach upset.
