Not the most exciting of subjects but as socks go these are pretty good. The socks are a good fit and having been through the wash a few times have kept their shape and still look new. They stay up well and do not fall down or ruck up under your foot. The Merino wool is comfortable and has anti microbial qualities which is good in warmer weather. Would happily buy again.

Lightweight comfortable and warm these machine washable socks are great.

I’ve worn this brand for years and years.I love them: they are so comfortable and such good quality.However, I’ve noticed in the last couple of years that these socks (which used to be indestructible) seem to not have the longevity they used to and are wearing out much sooner than they used to.Not sure why.

The Danish Endurance Merino wool ¾ crew black dress socks (thinner 2022 version) in my sample are the 9-12 size, and have uniform thinness for comfort and breathing.The toe seam is hard, relatively bulky, and very noticeable across the top of the toes with some shoes, specifically my smartest shoes! No matter, I have better, seamless socks for those.The styling is a bit strange because (before the inevitable shrinkage in the first wash) while the sole may be a solid size 9-12, the elasticated top around the ankle is more like a size 6-8. So (as with almost all Az supplied socks) I’ve modified them with a trusty old QuickUnpic to snip the binding holding the top band fold-over.Having spread the lower-calf pinch, the foot of the (washed) 9-12 sock is snug and comfortable on size 8-9 feet, being quite soft apart from the toe seam. They make good summer socks, but would be cool in winter.No washing instructions were supplied with these socks, nor on the Amazon page, and in our house they have to go in with all the others, or else it’s the bin. So we always buy socks from Az a size or two too big, knowing from past experience they always shrink in the first wash.This two minute snip halves the contact pressure on the skin, gives a bit more calf height to the sock and allows my normal shaped feet and ankles to have more normal circulation. I should not have to do this surgery. Over many previous decades my socks were always perfect; I still have some of those and they still fit.Why are most recent socks so uncomfortable?

I have always thought of thermal socks as being thick and a bit on the bulky side, great for boots and walking shoes, but too thick to wear with your everyday shoes, so when I came across these, described as dress socks, I couldn't wait to try them, and yes, that is exactly what they are, fairly thin, so fit like ordinary socks, but so warm and comfortable, the instant you put them on, you feel the heat, it's like getting into your car with the heated seats on! They are an excellent fit and wash well, wish I had found these years ago, definitely worth the money.

Please read bad reviews from others. These socks are really unpleasant with acrylic feel to feet. They were too big for my size 4 foot. I have always bought merino wool by smart and they are so lovely ti the touch . These are almost identical feel & fit as another purchase of a pack of 6 “essential” socks I bought at same time. These were 5x the cost. Not happy with them at all. Note in one review with a photo whereby someone gives 5 stars, the socks are a terrible loose fit as they were with me. I really can’t comprehend all the good reviews on this product. My understanding is that this brand has made very good socks in the past. This is mentioned in other negative reviews. Very disappointed

These are really comfy socks and great value. Pleased found socks that have wool in the fabric.
