Inexpensive USB-connected mouse
Fine USB connected mouse. Does not come with USB C adapter. Once successfully connected works fine. No bells and whistles but not expensive.

tracking my progress
I am not very familiar with Macs, but I have had quite a few mice for Windows machines. This mouse doesn't even compare with my Logitech gaming mouse, but it isn't supposed to. It works great on my MacBook Air with 1 exception. The speed setting in the Mac's system properties doesn't allow you to go warp speed! My Logitech is set to 6400 DPI - which means my cursor zooms across the screen. The cursor on the Mac is moving at about half the speed. I didn't get the Mac for gaming purposes, so I guess it's fine. It may be slower than I am used to, but it beats the heck out of having to rely solely on the trackpad. :) I guess what my Logitech has that this mouse doesn't is its own settings application. Perhaps this mouse could use a more customizable application to speed things up. Still, I am happy with it as it is. I'd purchase another one once this one wears out.

No more faulty connections
Our Apple wireless mouse kept losing connection so we decided to get a wired mouse. We have an older Apple computer, but it works perfectly with it! It's made our life easier.

Serviceable USB (corded) mouse
I recently updated to the newest version of MacOS, and much to my chagrin it hosed Bluetooth on my 2018 Mac Mini. I bought this mouse as a backup until Bluetooth is fixed.I wouldn’t use it as my main mouse all the time, but for backup and emergency purposes it works. Clicking left and right is no problem. The scroll wheel works. However, the mouse overall feels cheap. Much too light. The scroll wheel screams low quality in particular. The ergonomics are a bit off, too — the profile of the mouse is too short height-wise, making for hand discomfort during prolonged usage. My primary mouse is a Logitech Anywhere 3, which I think is the perfect mouse. This mouse, by comparison, has the same ergonomic issues that the Apple Magic Mouse has, although the latter has typical Apple quality.I recommend to people to always have a USB mouse as backup just in case your Bluetooth becomes wonky, and for that purpose this mouse fits the bill. It’s relatively inexpensive, but I would’ve gladly paid 50% more for higher quality.
