These work wonderfully once you get them on. They create a very secure hold so they can be hard to put on.

Tested these with .6 mil plastic sheeting. Placed one super snap on sheet and 50lbs attached. The super snap held no problem. (plastic stretched on sheeting) These hold with more strength than the material its attached to!!! much better than any clamp type. Have also snapped onto a waterproof, flannel picnic blanket(oceas brand). This was a little harder but locked in place. No more tarps with these. You can use plastic sheeting and get better strength as it doesn't rip. The super snap allows the perfect tie down and increased surface area. This is the best invention to solve that grommet problem. quality US Made product that does what it says. buy these instead of any clamp type.

These snaps are so useful for putting a tarp over a boat. You can get the bungee as tight as you want it and don't have to worry about the tarp grommets ripping out. There are two weaknesses for me. The lower hook bends under strong pressure, to the point of releasing the bungee. The answer is to use the hole above the hook as shown in the picture. Also, in cold weather, it is difficult to place the snap on the tarp since the plastic gets stiff in the cold. When I tried heating it with a hair dryer, I went a bit overboard and the plastic stretched to much and ruined the snap.

Had a boat cover without grommets so I purchased these. Have had them on for about 3 months in wind and rain and seem to be holding on pretty well.

I usually only write a review If the product is really good or the product is really bad. I have seen these before but I have never used them for their intended purpose so this review is not how well they work on holding down a tarp. I was getting really annoyed with my fitted sheet coming off my mattress every single night. Just the other day it dawned on me I could use these to keep the fitted sheets on our bed. This is the best product I have ever seen for this, they lay nice and flat under the mattress. Just hook one on each corner of the sheet and run a string from corner to corner and your fitted sheet will never come off again. Absolutely brilliant. If this was the only purpose that these served, they would be worth every penny.

These are definitely the best way to attach anything to a tarp. Much better than the built in grommets that come with the tarp and also much better than the jaws type tarp clasps which can pull off. There’s just no way these can come off. I use them for everything. Great for a boat cover as you can put some serious tension on the cover without worrying about pulling the grommets out. They can be challenging to install on thicker tarps but once you get them on they are there to stay.UPDATEI see some negative views mostly from popping off. It may not be obvious but the snaps need to be installed on the tarp so the cord is pulling in a straight line with the snap tab where it is attached. If the cord is pulling on a angle it will attempt to rotate the ring around the disk to bring it straight. That rotation will pop off the ring. I just pull the cord to the point I want to attach the snap and make note of the angle and install the snap so the tab is in alignment with the cord. Will never pop off !

Not certain yet if they are worth the money.Works well but when pulled tight the 2 pieces come apart, so, it will depend on what u are using them for.
