AGHORA II KUNDALINI

Yes, worth a read.
Spiritual books, especially those dealing with a devotee’s personal experiences, are difficult to review, since the author as well as the reader, both are subjective to the extreme, and both go through the process with something to prove.Nevertheless, as far as my reading experience is concerned, this book, which is the 2nd one in the trilogy composed by the author, turned out to be far better compared to the first book, in terms of readability. The book deals with a special concept that has been the elephant in the room, as far as discussions on Tantra is concerned. No, I’m not talking about sex. I’m talking about “Kundalini”, a concept that is omnipresent in Indian literature, and yet which is almost impossible to describe & discuss in meaningful terms. All spiritual leaders and good teachers of physical education tell us that the potential to do anything lies within our body. Tantra, and almost every scripture, describes that latent potential and hidden power as Kundalini. But how to find it?What are the pitfalls associated with the search for it?How can one harness it to the best possible extent? All these questions have not been answered in this book, since it’s not a guide-book or manual. But it turned out to be a more literate & proper exposition of some of these questions, and the description of the journey that one takes when the fantastic voyage towards finding that mysterious power commences. The book also benefits from the scholarly treatment that it has received, courtesy the illustrations, captions, and appendix by Robert Beer.At times, all the illustrations and accompanying explanations made me feel dizzy, if not utterly soporific. But, at the end, it seemed that the book was really, REALLY, trying to explain some concepts, and not trying to bore us with someone’s tall tales.Definitely worthy of a read.

Low quality paper
1 star less for not sending bookmark.Other 1 star less for low paper quality. Text is not easy to read due to very thin semitransparent paper as back text are reducing clarity of text on front side of every pages.

I bow down to Guru and touch feet of Shishya, Robby
After Vol.1 reading Vol. 2 became simpler as it contained many facts in day to day we encounter and the gestures to be interrelated to Kundalini saadhana. Swami Vimalananda although named with another identity by Dr. Robert E S, he manifested throughout the book as a real swami Vimalananda. The explaination in Music and Nada are excellent to understand the cosmic language. The book although titled Aghora but is truly not ghora; not threatening not threatening.I suggest all the Hindus to read such truths before practicing their generic traditions to understand the true realm of the ritual one does.Vol. 1 took me out of fear of certain uncertainties but vol 2. spake my inner soul.....I personally request Amazon to send my immense gratitude to Dr. Robert ES; Robby as without him these truths would have not came out Swami Vimalananda. I bow down to the Guru who enlightened me and special feet touch to the Shishya who made his guru to reveal truths and many estorics.

This is the best book in the trilogy
This book provides such an amazing explanation about Kundalini Shakti and how it is not a joke. It takes a tremendous amount of effort, mindfulness and self-control to unlock Her energy. It was such a blast to read Vimalananda's stories and analogies and Robert Svoboda has done an incredible job writing this and sending the message. I definitely recommend this read! You don't really need to read part 1 to read this other than a few topics which were expanded upon in the first book.

A good book
its agood book second in the series and contains very good knowledge about certain aspects of tantra its beauty lies in the esoteric meanings vimalananda extracted out of popular indian mytho literature , he explained beautifully how the followers of there dieties can invoke there kundalinis through true devotion towards there gods, at so many places vimalananda seem compromise the fact with his own theories and emphasised his own diety , which yo cant compain about as devotees know that once they choose adiety they should be staunch faithful towards them ,and see there diety in everything and consider it best , so does vimalananda and robby also did a good job ,expaining a subject which seemed like biased but was not, it has many amazing things again and could be very good learning for spiritual seekers ,the importance and methods of rituals are very intelligently described by vimalananda and many of them are secret so he has not described them as an authentic honest spiritual guy , a very good book who want to know something about psychology and hidden meanings of indian spiritual practices a must for spiritual seekers , but dont get biased or rigid.

Good book written badly
Very good book but written very badly. It is very difficult to read book with great concentration. I am sorry if my comment hurts the readers.I still recommend for spiritual progress to read this book, even though reading may annoy.

A classic! Well written!! A respectable and a dignified book!!!
The print is very small. It is not a problem for 20/20 vision. If one’s vision is slowly fading due to age, reading with out magnifiers can be a bit tedious, especially, if you do not need eye glasses yet! A wonderful book to understand the Universal laws and it’s mechanics. One need to have patience to digest all that is written. Take your time. It is not a quick read unless one already knows enough about the Tantra. I am still in the process of reading and understanding. I have liked everything I have read so far. I finished the Aghori I. With Aghori II, I am still in the early chapters.

great book!
I started with Aghora 3, then read Aghora 1 and am still reading this one - it doesn't really matter which one you start with but they are all very entertaining and if you are a yoga practitioner quite informative about traditional Tantric practices.

My eyes hurt!!!
I wish I would be able to read the book!!! I have 20/20 vision, no glasses, but I refuse to wear them after on an attempt to read this book, even though it is written by Svoboda. The printing is horrible, color of pages are of a light paper bag. The font is literally 8 (!) and spacing between the lines is also tiny. I prefer to read printed books, but now I wish there would be an electronic option. I wouldn’t mind to pay more for a better quality paper and print. I have read Prakriti of the same author, also tiny font but at list a paper is whiter and the contrast between the color of words and the page is better. Disappointed by printing, hoping to read it in a better quality.

Absolutely awful picture quality, book is great
The picture quality is awful and pixelated making them essentially useless. Was looking forward to reading this but my excitement is greatly diminished by the fact that I now have to look up the yantras on the internet as I read the book. Would love to see an edition where this is not the case.
