I saw this product at a friend's house. My tea tasted so much better, I ordered one and it was delivered with in 2 days. I wonder whether same product can be made cordless with alkaline batteries. Because power usage is for few seconds only.

Very powerful frother! I bought this because I have previously had battery powered milk mixers and while I remember how helpful they were, I also remember how annoying it was to keep replacing their batteries. This certainly froths well but it's far more powerful than a battery-whisk and you definitely can't use it in a glass for your milkshakes! If you're just planning on using it for your coffee mugs, this would be great. Although be aware that you can't remove the metal stem from the main piece so you will have to wash by hand and cannot submerge. The little cover that it comes with has measurements on it- a very helpful feature; it's a shame it's not easy to clean right to the end of it where all the liquid collects but it's not impossible either. The mixer's tip is a flat disc of metal and not a coiled whisk- it's great at making froth but not as good at mixing as other, whisk-style, battery frothers. I use this product fairly frequently but I'll probably end up buying a battery powered one simply because they're easier and more versatile.
