High quality olives
They taste just like olives should taste. Full of flavour. You can keep them in the fridge for several weeks and they are still good. Not like the rubbish Californian sliced black olives you find in American supermarkets.

Great Value. Good Taste
Please compare apples with apples. Black Olive is not Kalamata olive or Kalamata style olive. Kalamata Olive is a type of olive that grows around the city of Kalamata in Greece, Golcuk, Karamursel. Gebze, and Bursa in Turkey. Kalatamata Olive is meatier and low in fat. Kalamata style, is a type of process where the olives are sliced on both side and kept in vine vinegar for a couple of days then given some additional flavor with lemon juice and olive oil. Black Olive is the same olive as Green Olive. Green is the color of the olive that is picked when the olive is not completely mature. When the Olive is mature, it color turns black. Kalamata Olive, Green Olive, and Black Olive, they all taste different. This product is Back Olive. As being someone who grew up eating Black Olive, I can tell that it's a good and the value for price is excellent. Are they better Black Olives? Yes. Of course. However, they are harder to find and they are more expensive. Like everything else when you look for one step one.

Delicious, large and "meaty"; a great find and an excellent value
I had a hankering for black olives, ideally ones that were oil-cured. These are not oil-cured, but have some of the flavor elements of oil-cured olives that I am fond of. They are really quite large, and that makes for a very meaty olive.I have so far used them for salads and just for snacking, but I can envision them going into a pasta dish before I place my next order. I think they are wonderful olives, highly recommend them, and expect to be buying them again. Relative to prices for similar olives at local stores, these are a bargain with the added benefit of delivery to your door.As a note, more to Amazon or whoever provides the pricing information, someone should fix the information. If a single unit is $13.79, then it makes no sense that a 10-pack would be $777. Amazon has countless examples of such pricing errors, and no matter how many times you point them out, the information never gets fixed.

Worst olives I've ever eaten.
I love oil cured olives so when I saw this value price I ordered it immediately. It came as expected. I cut open the package wanting to just test some to see if it was too salty in which case I would wash them. BUT there was no salt, in fact no flavor of anything. It was absolutely totally unequivocally the worst I olives I've ever eaten. Completely BLAND, NO flavor. Even mushy So I transferred them to good container put some olive oil on it put in the fridge hoping that this will help. I do not have any hopes. I wish I could return it .Update: two days after receiving this I posted a notice to the seller via Amazon's system, telling him of my experience and hoping I could return it or at least get a refund. Well within 24 hours I got a response from them informing me that they will refund my money. And the very next day Amazon posted a refund. That is fantastic customer service. Yes!I did not have to return the item. Great customer serviceOne further point I offer them to some other people and no one would eat them.If I could give it a minus rating I would do itI did soak it in olive oil to see if that would help – well it actually made it even worse brought out the extreme bitter flavor. As I could not return this I contacted the seller through the Amazon help and told them all about my experience. Hoping maybe for a refund. Well I'll tell you they did respond within 24 hours. That was quite amazing they said simply we are sorry for your experience and we will refund you completely, no need to return items.Within 24 hours I received notification from Amazon that there is a refund being deposited, by the seller. Very impressive. The olives are still crap

Might be slightly expensive, but oh so delicious
I really like these larger olives, they are big enough to enjoy and small enough to enjoy far too quickly...The ONLY problem, Amazon has shipped me olives (including these) twice now, in recycle soft padded envelopes, which means the olives in their hard plastic container are subject to all manner of external forces, which has caused a minor breach to the container, and thus purplish olive juice all over the inside, which means all over whatever it drips on when I open the envelope, myself included!I contacted Amazon support via chat to make a comment about this happening for the second time, but the chat robot went directly to refund and assured me this would not happen again. Hmmm. So I took the robot at its word, got the refund, and ordered another to see if this is true or not. We shall see...

Excellent
In the past I've purchased the 2XS olives, those were excellent as well. I guess I did expect these to be a little bigger, but that's not a big deal. They are significantly different than the smaller olives, they've got more texture. A little meatier, firmer, and it seems to me a more complex taste. You will need to have a container ready to move them into; their packaging doesn't come with its own lid. I was able to fit the contents of the package into two mason jars: a four-cup and a two-cup.I personally would say they taste like oil cured black olives, different than any other type of olive I've tried, but I had my brother try some and he said they taste like green olives, and now I can see the resemblance. They do sort of taste like your standard brine cured green olive, but much more mellow and far superior. I'd say somewhat less salty. Overall, like I said, excellent.
