This is my second purchase of this sideboard. Great value for money and looks nice.

Delivery pproblems
Product was easy to build and looked good when finished.However dates for delivery were not given correctly.It meant we were waiting for hours and no delivery arrived.Also received no message from carrier to let us know when it was arriving.Made it a very stressful transaction

It arrived in a flimsy cardboard box that was split with bits fallen out!

Perfect size for area I had
Easy to build,have bought quite a few pieces of furniture from this company now and everything has been great,their communication is brilliant and they don't deliver using Hermes,always a bonus. I painted ours to match other furniture and put different handles on it for same reason. Great value for money. I use the top as my tech corner for all the gadgets and chargers.

Really poor quality wood.
Wood poor quality. When screwing together several pieces split . Terrible instructions. None of the parts are numbered. Took about 3 hours to construction. Looks awful with all the splits . Can't be bothered of the hassle of returning.

Firstly, I ordered four items of Mercers furniture and I can say they are top quality items. In saying that there is one issue regarding assembly of these items. after screwing together the three door wardrobe my right arm was shot to bits and if I had screwed together the other three items by hand im sure I would have done my arm a serious injury. contrary to mercers directions I drilled pilot holes and used a power driver and even in some areas used an alternative better quality screw. That may be a symptom of age related weakness in my right arm but it certainly made assembly easier and quicker without compromising quality or strength
