Soil Scoop

Nicely finished, seemingly sturdy soil scoop with quite sharp serrated edges. Good for dividing and replanting perennials, especially in pots since you can dig a little, saw them apart and then use the scoop to fill more soil in around the plants, all with one tool.

Best tool for gardening. I live in Florida and the soil is compact. I plant and replant bromeliads, paddles, and various plants and this tool is the best

I love this and that opinion comes from owning one of these for close to 20 years. I had one the exact one that had the cushioned handle and loved it. But after nearly 20 years the cushioned material had become gummy-- not fun. I had planned to wrap it somehow but took it to use somewhere else and lost it somehow. So I chose to replace it with the wooden handle to avoid that in the future.Being stainless it holds up perfectly- even when I leave it out in the SoCal elements. I love how much the scoop portion holds whether digging for planting or scooping some soil to add to a container. I also love the "jagged" edge which I've used to "cut" things such as thin stems and even bags of soil (it makes a rough cut but still gets me in the bag without scissors). I wholeheartedly recommend this garden tool. Obviously, I didn't hesitate to buy another one.

This versatile scoop helped make short work of a garden bed refresh, quickly pulling decomposed granite and dirt away from the edging and putting it back in place. The deep cup also allowed me to easily make a large hole in a planter, including scooping out some of the dirt. Why did I only just find it?!

I purchased 2 -- one as a gift & one for myself. Its easy to use, a quality product and I would recommend it to all gardeners. My delivery arrived quickly & placed on my porch.

I had hoped this scoop, with its serrated edges, would be helpful in cutting the roots of weeds as I scooped soil to make room for new plants. The edges are fairly blunt and don't do well with cutting roots. However, it is a useful tool for scooping soil from planting holes after using a soil knife to cut any roots that are in the way.

The is great if you are a gardener. It scoops dirt out of a hole easily. The teeth are really helpful getting thru clumps. I bought this as a gift for a friend. I have one and I love it.
