Bosch Pro 1000W Mixer Grinder MGM8842MIN - Black

I've been using this for 3 months now.The Really bad:The blender jar has a major flaw. If you use it for blending (I have tried lassi, milkshake, smoothies), liquid spills out from the spout when running. I scheduled a warranty service but the technician told me that this jar is only for juicing and the metal jar is for bending. I concluded that it's a design flaw which Bosch is unwilling to admit. The metal jar can be used for blending, but its small if you're blending for 3-4 people. This would have been a dealbreaker if I knew this beforehand as I blend a lot.Bad but manageable:1) The metal jar lids are weirdly shaped and lots of liquid gets stuck in it, so you end up wasting a little bit of whatever you're making. The lids are also much more messy than a regular dome lid and also a little tougher to clean.2) The small cap in the lid for adding things is really loose. You have to be careful when turning the lid upside down or it falls and breaks.3) Food gets stuck in the flow breaker. It's also not very intuitive to remove and I have a feeling it will be easily broken by the househelp when cleaning.4) Flow breaker and the pounding blade don't make a noticeable difference to the end result, and I have completely stopped using them.The Good:1) Great looking and has a small footprint2) Noise levels aren't bad. A 1000 W motor will definitely be louder than a 400 W one (typical home mixie wattage) but even then it's not super loud and is very manageable.3) Very, very powerful. Pulverises anything you throw at it instantly.

I am writing this review after 18 months. Though I am a proud owner of BOSCH Washing Machine and Dish Washer, I regret buying a non familiar product from BOSH. The Mixie performed OK till now with heavy noise. It started heavy Noise AND SMOKING ON 25.12.2024. complaint was raised on their toll free number and it was assured that the fault will be attended with in 24 Hrs. I though BOSCH is a big Multination Company, they will attend in time. Even after chasing 15 to 20 times , sending mails, booking on line request, calling local supervisor, till 30.12.2024 no one has responded. For Major city like Chennai , they don't have proper service network. I think it is better to buy other reputed products like Preethi, Prestige, Butterfly etc,at half the rate and the service network will be better. I have also sent a final e mail to the firm, requesting for early restoration OR replacement. If not i am plannimg to approach consumer forum. I think BOSCH is not expert other than washing machine and dish washing. Pl think twice and buy. I was using Preethi for past 10 yrs ( same mixie lasted for 10 yrs with minor repairs) but htis one failed with in 18 months and service also not there in major city like chennai.update after 2 hrs. Luckily service head called me by 7 pm and informed that technician will visit tomorrow , with out any spare, will check and write to the company , get the spares shipped and replace once it is received. I think they are going to take another 7 days. Even for small house hold mixie they are not having spare on hand. very bad policy. BOSCH you need to change this, otherwise people may neglect your product.Till 14 Jan no response from Bosch

Product quality and product performance is good, but the product makes high noise which is draw back for the product.
