Excellent feeder
I live in Southern Coastal North Carolina and Baltimore Orioles are unheard of here. However I had three visit in the early fall and it’s late winter and they are still visiting daily. When I say the first one it was attempting to feed from my hummingbird feeders. The first time I saw the first one I ordered this feeder. I received it in two days and set it up on a four hook Shepherds hook pole. The three Baltimore Orioles continued to visit daily. I could tell them apart because one was fatter than the others and the degree of brightness was noticeable. I thought maybe they wouldn’t be able to find the feeder. My concerns were unfounded because they went straight to it the same day I hung it. I mixed grape jelly with equal parts hot water and homemade hummingbird nectar. I mashed up the jelly and stirred it with the water-nectar mix and heated it in the microwave. Those birds love it and every other day I wash the bowl and add more mixture, that’s how fast they empty it. I also cut up an orange into 8 sections and put one piece on on the two spikes. The metal holder is very sturdy and well made. The bowl is small but I wouldn’t want it bigger because the food might sour.I’d recommend this feeder to anyone.

Wife loves it that is all that matters
While it is still winter, my wife can't wait for the oriole to return so we can feed them oranges

Looks cute poorly made
While it looks cute, it is not good quality. I bought this one over another very similar one because it stated that the bowl was glass which I preferred over the other that stated theirs was made of plastic. However it also said that it holds the bowl sturdy and that is very debatable. It has small thin metal tabs which can sort of fold over the edge of the bowl. They were not properly aligned to hold securely and I am certain that it will break after a few times opening and closing. This is a bird feeder so the bowl will need to be removed and cleaned OFTEN! The main structure is also thin and not very strong. I can't imagine that it will last even a season of outdoor use. It is not worth the hassle to try and return it with the current stay at home orders in place, however, I don't trust it as designed for outdoor use and will not buy it again or recommend it to others. I will either be donating mine or repurposing it into something for indoor use that also will not require the bowl to be removed periodically.

Pretty and works great! The orioles, catbirds and even some sparrows love it.
Pretty and works great! The orioles, catbirds and even some sparrows love it. The birds in my yard seem to prefer the jelly over the orange wedges. I added an ant moat/nectar protector to prevent ants, which have been a problem for me with another oriole feeder and my hummingbird feeders.

Fun watching Orioles eating jelly
The Orioles really enjoy eating grape Jellly. It took them several days to find this feeder so I eventually moved it right next to the sugar water feeder which serves both Orioles and Hummers. I tried orange halves but our very hot weather dried out the oranges quickly. (So. Cal.). The Orioles have now migrated south so I'll set it up again next spring. I love this feeder and wish I had thought about buying it years ago.

Oriole ate immediately
We are lucky enough to have a Baltimore Oriole spend the winter with us in eastern North Carolina. They are very rare here. This feeder works better in colder temperatures than the usual tube type of Oriole feeder as the jelly will not flow in winter. I put grape jelly in the little bowl and Oriole fed at once. You have to renew jelly after a rain but that is not a big deal. Very pleased with this product.
