I love how it folds! it’s so convinient and my daughter loves it.

I was both happy about the folding feature (for locker storage/backpack transport) BUT was skeptical that feature also might make it flimsy and floppy (inefficient). Well, when joined, they are plenty stiff for recreational use; and for getting the butterfly technique down. Yeah, bands or belts around your kids knees with regular flippers works too, but for $30 avoiding the piercing stares and seniors reporting you to the lifeguards who have to explain what you are doing make it $30. very well spent!

The media could not be loaded. Our kiddo has some big feet for her age and this still fit her great. She didn’t need the inserts but we did have to tighten the strap and she wears a women’s size 7! She got used to it pretty quick and never complained about comfort. It folds which is so helpful to make travel and storage easier.

So I told her she could get a tail skin once she’s safe in her monofin. This one fits her perfectly and she’s getting stronger and stronger. I love how it folds and she loves the mermaid scales on the foot pockets. I highly recommend this for kids who are strong swimmers and want to swim like a mermaid.

Our daughter loves to mermaid at the Y. We have a locker, and the other fins we've had need to be carried back and forth, but this folds and fits right in the locker! It's adjustable strap and hinge are unlike anything we've had before. Our mermaid says this one is as "kickin" as her original Mermaid Linden mono fin. For the price point, the ML monofins have made the best gift for summer birthdays. We've only had this new fin for about a month, but it's already logged hours of fun racing up and down the lanes after swim practice.

The box only says it is for a child, not an adult like the description says. However, I did not check it when it arrived, I just put it away until the actual birthday. I am trying to return it now but it is after the 30 day window so I'm now stuck with the item since it will not fit. They need to take that it will fit an "adult" off the description.

I have the non folding version, and thought this would be a nice other option to help fit in the bag easier. Unfortunately because of its folding design it has a really hard edge on the bottom where kids stand. So it tore up the fabric tail it was in. We were in a concrete indoor pool so it was fabric being rubbed between a rock and a hard place.My real concern is if someone uses this in a pool with a liner they could easily teara the liner.I love Linden MonofinsI have 2 adult and now 2 kids onesBut the folding design is not the way to go.
