My youngest LOVED this mermaid tail! Granted she should have been born with fins and gills. She loved how easy they were to use, the color, size, and design! Super durable! Great price!

We have not swam with the product at the time of this review, though I feel they will work well based on the stiffness. My daughter's were excited to try them on, they fit perfect! My eldest does not need the added the foam pad, while my youngest likes the fit with it. Quote from my eldest daughter: "Look mom, they have the GOOD strap - it won't hurt or slide off! It fits perfect - I can't wait to swim!" I was happy the packaging contained 1 zip tie and plastic piece, while the rest is cardboard! It was easy to open. I am hopeful for a couple of years use out of these because of the quality - they seem very durable. If my review changes after we swim, I will come back & update. I purchased two pink & purple due to a sale - definitely worth the $25! I am keeping an eye for the blue to go on sale.

My 9 yr old is obsessed with this tail! She's gotten so good as swimming with it on. It's really easy to put on or kick off if she's tired. It always floats to the top so we never have to dive in to get it from the bottom. She swims really well with it on and feels like a mermaid which was the goal! It makes swimming more fun!

BEST GIFT EVER! Ordered as a Christmas present for a 6 year old OBSESSED with mermaids. Took it to the pool, and it seems like it will hold up to wear and tear. As for day to day wear, it has been on my childs feet for 3 days in our home and are holding strong.SIZE: The foot size is pretty adjustable. I wear a womens 8 and could almost adjust the heel strap to fit me but opted out since it wasn't mine to break. It comes with neoprene inserts that allow a very small foot to fit as well. My daughter is a 13 and could go with or without the insert.NOTE: while the heel is adjustable (and has a neoprene cover to make it comfy) it is not easy to adjust while on. You need to undo the side hook to adjust size for heel. Once you adjust it, then you have to hook it at a specific angle and then turn it to lock into place. So for a younger kid, it could be confusing.

My 8 yr. old wanted a merman tail. This was by far the best choice! Stays put on his feet. Allows him to get in and out of it quickly. Feet have adjustable straps. PERFECT!!! 10/10

This was a birthday gift for my 12 yr old daughter. She used it all summer in our pool. She was able to put it on and take it off by herself. It's still on new condition, she will be able to get more use from it. We do keep all the pool toys in a deck box and our of the weather.

I got this for my eight-year-old granddaughter who had a lesser quality one and it broke. She used it all summer long and had a blast.

We bought this for our 9 yr old daughter last May (2018) and she absolutely LOVES IT! She’s in our pool almost every day of the summer so we are always looking for pool toys and fun things to make her pool time more fun. She used this tail EVERY time she swam last summer and she’s in the pool almost daily and it’s still like new! We made sure we kept it out of the sun, in our storage bin, when she wasn’t using it, as we know the sun is hard on things so I’d recommend that. One thing I was nervous about before purchase was her not being able to get it off in an emergency. But its not as restricting as I thought it would be. We just kept the velcro straps fairly loose until she got used to the feel. I did read that people had problems with the rubber fin separating from the plastic piece they slip their feet in and we have not had trouble with that. This may be happening if swimmers are standing on the end/rubber tip while resting verses keeping their feet flat on the bottom of the the pool? I could see it tearing if that was done repeatedly. We couldn’t be more happy with it. I’ve looked at others for less $ in stores and they aren’t as good of quality. I’d buy another if something were to happen to this one. It’s was worth every penny for my mermaid daughter :)
