To help me relax and get into a sleeping mood, I found these help. I like the mixture of ingredients and ease of taking these tabs. I got these to help reduce the number of pills I usually take and these are perfect. They have the ingredients I am looking for and I like the quality. Very good product for its use.

I have been taking doctor prescribed Magnesium for about 5 years. My doctor recommends a formulation that ends with "ate" for best absorption. So 500 mg of Magnesium Citrate has been my choice. Many supplements are not manufactured in the US, but this one is tested in the US and distributed out of a Florida company. The one thing that throws me is how the front says 60 pills 1000mg, but on the supplement facts label it says 500 mg. It does say that the recommended dosage would be 2 a day, but to me the 1000 ng on the front is misleading. I almost didn't order them because of it, but thought I could split them. I do take 500mg in the morning and 500 in the evening, so I do take a total of 500 mg.

The magnesium citrate is easy to swallow. I like the fact that it is made in the USA and is GMO free. I have been sleeping better, but have also changed a few things besides taking this so I can't say if it has truly helped me or not.

What I really like about this brand is that they disclose how much elemental magnesium you are getting in each dose. For those that don't know, the elemental magnesium is what what gets absorbed by the body. In the case of these here, 1000mg is the total compound weight, 880mg is magnesium and 500mg of that is elemental. When other brands list just one number, I assume it's the elemental amount but can never be one hundred percent sure.These are made and lab tested in the USA. The capsules are easy to swallow and have no taste. I've have had no upset stomach or other adverse reactions in the three weeks I've been taking these.

Magnesium citrate is my favorite form of magnesium since citrate can combat the oxalate heavy foods that I tend to eat (like chocolate, spinach, etc). Dosage is a little suspect as I take magnesium citrate pills from another manufacturer with pills roughly the same size, but has only 133mg of magnesium instead of the 250mg per pill that this claims. And yes, the other company does use fillers unlike this company. But still it makes you wonder... are they packing it tighter?

I have added magnesium citrate to my daily regimen over the past 6 months and it has been wonderful. Not only does it help me sleep but it helps me stay regular as well. The daily recommended amount is 500mg or less per day, so I only take one about an hour before bed. It helps me sleep soundly and for a longer period of time. In the morning, it keeps me regular! This brand seems to work great and I am loving it!
