I was told to take Potassium citrate by my kidney doctor because I get stones. He prescribed 1000 mg tablets and I absolutely could not get them down, they were HUGE with sharp edges. Would choke me. So I found these and they are a little less mg each but I get more of it into my body because these are in gelcaps, are smaller and are easy to swallow. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it doesn't come in 1000mg dose.

Although the label is deceptive, and should be corrected, this Potassium is the largest and best on Amazon. A banana or cucumber has about 500 mg of Potassium. So there is no problem increasing the potassium to these levels or higher. It really helps mitigate headache discomfort from high blood pressure. I take 3 or 4 capsules at a time if I ate salty restaurant food. I'm buying more potassium and eating more fresh fruit. .
