Arrived on time
I'm giving it a 4 because of the weather I fitted it yet but it turned up in good time and I can't foresee any issues

A good solid adapter for providing a temporary solution.
Review of Belmont 13 Pin towing socket adaptor to To 7 Pin Trailer cable Plug.Another towing socket adapter from Belmont, this adapter to convert a vehicle 13 pin socket to fit a trailer 7 pin cable plug, the adapter a completely different configuration in fitting in that this a twist lock type similar in operation to a 13 pin trailer plug whereas the 7 pin type socket and plug is merely a push fit and does not twist. To fit this 13 pin adapter one has to align with the vehicle 13 pin socket, lift the sprung vehicle socket cover horizontal and align the inner peg or block on the inside of the 13 pin adapter to the bottom at 6 O’clock (1800hrs) to match the cut-out in the vehicle socket lower inner. On most vehicles when looking at the 13 pin socket on the rear of the vehicle the flat plate attached to the outside of the adapter needs to be facing to the left at 90 degrees. The adapter then lightly pushed into the socket and twisted clockwise, this will lock with the sockets inner pegs and pull the adapter into the socket, the twist action finished when the flat plate attached to the adapter outer now facing upwards at 12 O’clock (1200hrs).On completion the sprung socket cover then lowers onto the adapter outer flat plate locking it against any untwisting action in use, all this achieved by the outer central section of the adapter rotating around the inner centre containing the connecting pins within the adapter. To finish lift the sprung outer flap of the adapter, align the 7 pin cable plug cut-out to 6 O’clock (1800hrs) and push fully into the adapter, the adapter sprung flap with teeth then placed over the cable plug to resist pull-out in use, disconnection simply reverse of fitting. The 13 pin twist action of this adapter provides a solid good connection to the vehicle socket, the inherent push action of the 7 pin adapter side will always the weak point for this adapter and although this works well from new future faults that may occur will, with all probability be with the 7 pin side. The adapter good for a temporary fix of mismatched connection, for a permanent solution a full 13 pin connection route is far more secure and waterproof in operation.

Didn't fit
It didn't fit so I tried to return it but there was literally no return options that were any use to me, everything is done on a QR code where you have to physically go to a shop to scan it and there aren't any local to me.Or I could pay for royal mail collection but it wouldn't be worth returning for what I'd get back after postage.

Works fine and is weatherproof so far.
Excellent alternative to re-wiring my old caravan socket. It's weatherproof so far, so I'm impressed.

13 to 7 pin adapter.
Pros:All black aluminium body with a well sprung plastic flap and plastic insert.Snug, probably a bit tight, fitting into a genuine Ford socket.Cons:Problems with the O-Ring seal; I missed it but it’s the same in the advert’s picture.Summary:This adapter lets me connect an old style 7 pin trailer board into the new style 13 pin socket, however, I will have to see if I can get a decent O-Ring to make it water and dust tight.

Turns a thirteen pin socket on your towing vehicle into a seven pin socket
This towing adapter will be very useful in the future, but I confess it wasn't what I expected to receive. This adapter is intended to attach to a towing vehicle's trailer socket, to a thirteen pin socket. It then presents a seven pin socket to the trailer's seven pin plug. What I thought I was getting was an adapter that would attach to a thirteen pin plug on a trailer, to convert it to a seven pin plug. This I could then connect to my vehicle's existing seven pin plug. If I had been a little sharper I would have noticed the pictures didn't, couldn't match my expectations. In my defence I merely quote, "Ensure seamless towing compatibility with this 13-pin to 7-pin adapter, designed to easily convert your trailer's socket". The word 'socket' should have raised an alarm. My misapprehension was confirmed with, "instantly connect your trailer to a 7-pin towing system" - Just what I want or so I thought. Had I looked carefully I would have realised the pictures didn't correspond to my expectations. If I hadn't thought I knew what I was doing I would have watched the video. It shows exactly what I unexpectedly received! It is not a disaster. I have a trailer with a thirteen pin plug and two with seven pin plugs. Sometime in the future I will have a towing vehicle with a thirteen pin socket. Then, this adapter will come into its own. This is a very useful and well made adapter. Just be very sure you know what you want and read the large print carefully.

Great
To be perfectly honest, having used the standard 7-pin trailer fitting for all of my driving life, the introduction of the 13-pin socket seems to be nothing but a source of trouble and irritation. Additionally, it requires every trailer I've ever used to adopt one of these adapters in order to connect with my new vehicle. I reluctantly see this as a necessity. The 13-pin male end of the adapter has a twist fitting, while the 7-pin female end has a push fitting, but the lid works as a retainer in the usual manner. In conclusion, it’s a useful adapter to have.
