Trick Or Treat Studios Halloween 1978 Butcher Knife Costume Prop

When I first saw this knife I knew I needed it for my 1978 Halloween Myers cosplayIt arrived late yes but I’m happy I did because this knife is absolutely amazing, it’s 18 inches long, as the original movie knife was 18.25 inches so for 30 bucks it pretty screen accurate,

Its a large knifewhich i dont mind, its menacing. It has a mirror like texture and way better than most halloween knives out there.

The knife is really large and looks great. It’s very reflective, so I sanded it a little to give it a more metallic look. It’s great for a costume, but is definitely flimsy. I could imagine it breaking very easily. Nails the look of the movie knife though.

It is flimsy,lightweight and will break very easily. I do like the look of it tho and is like a mirror shine.

The knife if a little bigger than a normal butcher knife. Kind of looks like the knife used in Halloween H20. The blade is very shiny but can be dulled down by handling it and dirtying it up, but I definitely like the shine and reflection in the light. Makes it look more real. I may try to post a picture of the knife with my costume.
