Very easy to use and clean
This is a good design. A 30 minute function would be VERY useful as it’s very efficient and I wouldn’t want to leave it on all night in the bedroom. But often keeping things simple is less to stop working. I tend to put mine on the landing for around 3/4 hours and it definitely improves the air quality. The directed nozzle works well. Cleaning is SO easy. It’s also very easy to move around the house. The flex is a decent length.

Great for baby room
I bought this as my daughter suffers with a cough in the night and find a humidifier really helps. We also use white noise so the fact this has the option is great! Capacity is massive and it's very easy to clean.Easy to use overall.I will say, the button to turn the white noise on is touch so is a bit awkward to do when trying to keep the room darker at bed time as you can't feel around for it - the volume is also awkward as you need to hold the touch button to turn it all the way up, then hold again to turn it down.I found it very loud, even on the lowest volume however it was on wood (which they recommend not doing) - once I put a towel under it, it was much better

Good product.
Product works well but did not come with UK plug adaptor. Slots together easily but doesn’t securely click into place just all lifts off so if knocked over will completely come apart.Steam output appears good on all settings, light function good without being too much. Sound settings basic but good. Larger than you think it will be but has an extremely large water reservoir so can run for several hours no problem. Has an automatic shut off too which is very reassuring. Worth purchasing due to large room size and auto shut off function.

U S machine
This product is advertised on the UK site, unfortunately, this is a U S product and comes with a U S plug with no adapter for the UK. I now have to send for a U S to UK adapter costing £7 99; Amazon failed to mention that the item was meant for the states, not pleased.

The best humidifier I have bought for my little one
The media could not be loaded. This is definitely the best humidifier. The previous reviews has led me to believe it comes with us plug which was not the case. I have received my humidifier with a UK plug, so there is no need for the adapter I bought. Even though I was misled by the reviewers here. This product is absolutely stunning. Currently, I am trying it out and it has an amazing feature of changing colors beautifully. Moreover, it also includes white noise and ocean waves sounds to assist babies in falling asleep, which is an added bonus. Setting up and filling this product is incredibly easy, and you even have the fantastic option of purchasing extra aroma pads.I fully support and recommend this product! Extremely satisfied with this humidifier!

Great
Does what the reviews say it does

Quite. But demanding.
I picked it for having a lowest db level. Wish I knew that you aren't allowed to put it on the floor. Or any wooden surface. The air vent is on the bottom part, so you have to buy a trivet to be able to put the device on a bedside table or chest of drawers. Overall, it works well, although "nature sounds" it supposed to make sounds mostly like plain noise.

Best to use distilled water.
Ran this thing for a little over a month using distilled water with no problems. Got lazy and used tap water and with in a few days the basin was filled with pink algae. The power cord can be removed and all the parts separate, so cleaning was a simple. Scrubbed the algae out with a vinegar soaked paper towel and then rinsed and let the parts dry out completely before refilling with distilled water again. Ran through the rest of winter with no problems. Super happy with this purchase!

Blown away by the "Like New" quality! Great experience
So I ordered this from the "Amazon Warehouse" as a "Like New" item - It arrived today and I am so happy!A little prefacing - I have owned many of these Crane tear-drops (like 5 or 6) and they are really good at what they do. Usually I end up dropping and breaking the tops so that's the only reason I had to replace two over a few years. That's my fault and totally on me, but I wanted to explain my "experience level" for these in general, believe me when I say I know what to look for in terms of how it's supposed to work, etc.So with that being said, I am so pleased to say that this came out of the box truly "like new". I honestly cannot tell if anyone had even put water in it before or plugged it up! The plug and accessories were still in their -sealed- plastic, so it makes me think that whoever returned it before just didn't like the color or something? Anyway, the device not only looks new but operates as new. I had one of these previously wear out because I didn't clean it enough, so I know first-hand how much mist these are supposed to put out new vs old-used & not cleaned.Honestly, if you gave me this as a present and didn't tell me it had been used before, I would have believed it was a brand new never-opened item. It's that good. I don't mean to sound cheesy about it, but I've really had some bad experiences in the past with "refurbished" and "like new" items, I am just so happy that I took the chance and it turned out to be a good experience. And the price- the price was on point! I saved money and I am happy. Thank you whoever warehouse guy/gal checked this out and approved it for resell.Because of this experience, I feel refreshed about buying used items and knock on wood that I'll continue to have jackpot experiences like this.

Easy Cleaning
I've used a Crane Drop humidifier (always 1 gal, I guess 1.0 and 1.1?) for many years and my biggest gripe with it has always been the pink slime that's impossible to completely remove from the tank, even with flexible brushes. Finding out that the 2.0 is a top-fill with actual access to the interior of the tank gave me a giddy feeling.Initial impressions:1. Having the mist channel moved to the exterior of the tank with a removeable plate is nice, but not necessary. I suppose it does look better visually not having it running through the middle of the tank, but I never had issues with cleaning the central channel. Any bottle brush worked fine. My second Drop (model 1.1?) had an annoying grate over the reservoir side of the channel where calcium would settle into the crevices. I tried to remove it with cutters and failed. A rotary tool with a cutting wheel would probably work.2. Night light feature is pleasing. You only have the option of Red, Blue, Color Changing, or off. I quite like the violet one and wish it was an option. But mostly I'm glad it's possible to have no light. The older models had not only a continuous light inside the tank, but a power light indicator over the dial. The power light turns off after severals seconds on this one.3. No burbling as the tank releases water into the reservoir! I haven't really examined the mechanism by which this is possible, but I appreciate it. After so many years, I'd gotten used to the random burbling in the older model, but those who prefer the quiet will be happy.4. Three output settings. Ok, I can see some people being a little unhappy to be losing the ability to fine tune the output using a dial. I always found the dial a little slippery when my hands were wet from refilling or just moisturizing. My only disappointment here is that the maximum output of this model doesn't quite meet that of the older. During this particular cold snap, my Crane 1.1 was able to push up to 45% RH when the heaters were nearly on constant. This one is getting to 41-42% with an assist from a portable desktop model.5. White noise feature. I'm going to pass on this. It seems entirely superfluous and the quality of those recordings/speaker is just ick. If that's a feature you like, you do you.6. Detachable power cord. !!! I have stepped on the the power insert more than a few times during regular cleaning of the base. Ouch! The durabilty of the cord remains to be seen. It's not a usb type, so I'm not sure how easy finding a replacement would be.7. Vapor Pad Tray. This is new. I'm prone to headaches from strong scents, so I won't be utilizing this feature, but I know many people will appreciate having scented mist. (I believe it is still not advised to use essential oils directly in the tank.)8. No hand grip for tank placement. With it being a top fill, the grip had to go. It can make placing the tank on the base a little tricky. I think a lot of the complaints regarding leaking probably come from not properly setting the tank into the baseOverall Rating: 4 StarsWe'll see how well this unit holds up. My 1.1 unit is near 10 years now. Disappointed that the max output hasn't been carried into this model. I'd rather have that than the white noise or night light features, but I am excited for the easier to clean tank.

Won’t dispense water
I bought this because it had great reviews, a large tank and easy to clean. I think this would be a great product if I could get it to stay running until the tank is empty. It won’t dispense water, the float to do so doesn’t operate properly. I don’t want to hassle with returns so I use it at night until it stops. The other issue is they recommend emptying daily. I barely get through the small amount of water I put in the tank anyway so I have been emptying and drying each morning, then refilling at night. It seems to get slimy surfaces inside if I leave water inside longer than overnight. I wish this worked better!Update: this went from nit dispensing water to leaking all over within days. Luckily it didn’t damage any electronics nearby when it leaked, but it could be a safety issue if water got into the machine itself. Waste of money for sure.
