can you buy the lead cleaning filters separately?

You can but I just use cigarette rolling filters and squish them in there. Works a treat. 1/100th the price.

Does it sharpen a 782 Mars?

I use it to sharpen my Mars 780C 2mm mechanical pencil. I do not know if it will fit the 782 but they look very similar.

I don't know about 2.5mm lead. however, I have used it with other clutch pencils, and you have to be more careful in the pressure you use when sharpening.
