Great kit from Tamiya and a lot of detail too. The metal barrel and photo etch should really come with the kit, so annoying to have to buy separately. Requires a lot of holes to be drilled too and you need to be precise doing that. Fit is excellent, but the stowage boxes going onto the turret could have been made to go together easier - just my opinion, but they were a bit of a faff. Oh and the heavy machine gun barrel needs to be hollowed out. Easy for an experienced modeller, but again, Tamiya could have done better. Figures are good, but no decals provided for uniform insignia. Overall, a great kit and excellent subject matter for any Vietnam war diorama.

This is a new version of the Sheridan tank. It builds into a nice model. It has link and length tracks, with a nice amount of sag, which looks very convincing. The crew figures are also very good.

Tamiya at its best , this is the new moulding kit . But P.E. is needed too make the kit perfect. This is at an extra cost unfortunately.

Lovely kit from Tamiya, upgraded it with the photo etched parts and metal barrel. Going to set it in a diorama of Vietnam war firing the Shillelagh anti-tank missile.

Fully up to best Tamiya standards. Two marking options with optional cupola, searchlight.

This is an outstanding model of the M551 if you are looking for one of this type ,this is a great model to build
