I've been buying this product for years because it helps me digest fats. I also take HCL and regular digestive enzymes, but those aren't enough to digests fats. So, I supplement with additional lipase. I've tried other brands, but I didn't notice an improvement in fat digestion, so I will continue to buy this brand despite the fact it's more expensive than most other brands. That said, I know that buying a lower cost brand that doesn't work as well is not cost effective.
