Measures light not great for photography
Does measure light and by test accurate, but not ideal for photography as you really need 2 people to use efficiently when using in flash photography.You put it where measurement is required after going into menu and set to max and what setting you are looking to be set be it F stop or ISOTake a test shot see what readings are and then set camera up takes a bit of time, I’m saving up to buy what is used by 99% of photographers.

Far from accurate...
... but gives a good idea. At this price point it is what it is.I give it 3 stars because dear lord the buttons are terrible! They work and I doubt they are likely to break but its not a good user experience that's for sure!It suits my purposes, take from that what you will.

This is an add on to my camera kit although the digital camera doesn't need it there is a use for it learning the old ways of light availability. Useful interesting piece of kit for amateur's and professionals alike. Pocket sized for easy carrying.

Used for seedlings
Fir growing plants for garden and allotment. Some plants too leggy. Compared light from kitchen window sill and grow room. Found light at different levels in parts of grow room.
