Unit died on 3rd ride
This product did not live up to any of its expectations. I've had it a week and due to the rain here in NY i have only been able to use it for 2 days. This morning being the 2nd day and 3rd trip. Well last trip as well as on the way to work this morning it completely died.This scooter barley had any pick up. Not sure how speed is calculated on it since the numbers on it dont correspond to MPH. But I honestly think this morning a horse drawn carriage was walking faster than I was going.It looks nice and handles ok. But it definitely cant handle the streets of NYC.I dont know where they do their product testing but it's not in an urban setting.This will be getting boxed up and returned as soon as I carry it back on the subway to the train for the trip home. Completely useless at this point.Maybe if the wheels didnt lock up when the unit is off I could still use it as a kick scooter. But alas. NoI would not recommend this unit for anyone other than maybe a child..05 stars.

Horrible
I bought three of these: one for me and one for each kid. They have all broken in different ways. I only had them for three months and barely used them. Two were issues with welding. The folding contraption snapped off rendering entire scooter useless. plus it almost causes a terrible accident. One the kickstand fell off (welded part), and one the motor is malfunctioning. The WORST part is that I was willing to just buy parts and fix this stuff but there is NOWHERE to buy the parts. Also have not received any replies from the company even after multiple emails. Waste of money.
