Same as “whole kernel” virgin coconut oil
I bought it thinking it might have been “creamier” in some way because Amazon Fresh was out of my unflavored coconut creamer. Turns out it’s exactly like my Dr.Bronners whole kernel virgin coconut oil. Dr.B may be better in my POV because of their fair trade, single source, good farming practices (at the time I wrote this).Nutiva sells this as “Puréed” coconut oil but it still separates over time (like all virgin coconut oils do) so by the time I bought it the consistency was exactly like Dr.Bs.Nutiva says separation tends to happen on the label & it has directions on the label telling you to warm it up in a suace pan if this happens.I can’t really compare prices of Dr.B over Nutiva because prices very depending where you buy it. My feeling is that this product is probably way overpriced. My advice: just buy whole kernel virgin coconut oil & purée it with a beater yourself if you want a creamier consistency.Hope this review was helpful 😉

If you've never tasted coconut manna you're overdue for a treat. Not just a treat, it's more of a gift from nature that nourishes physically and mentally. The fresh quality I've experienced with this delicious coconut.. its so good! Coconut allegedly helps protect against alzheimer's. That's.. good, too! That aside, let me bring you in on a delicious adventure. Once I nom nom about half a jar, overflowing spoonfuls at a time I must add, I head for the pantry in search of my kryptonite...chocolate! ! Not just any ol' chocolate found anywhere from walmark, to stations of tons of gas beneath your feet, that's sugar, cottonseed oil, vegetable oil, red 40, blue lake whatever laden, this is the real deal, one hundred percent, cacao nibs. Pouring on top of the half eaten manna, I rejoice at the familiar sound that resonates with my mind, body, and taste buds. Once the two are blended, by way of an intense forearm frenzy, I add the remaining ingredients; 2 T coconut sugar - 1 T almond butter . One must fathom the quality of and the experience these remaining two bestow. Once the final mixing procedure has been attained and the consumption begins the planets will be aligned allowing the ultimate frequency to be released.-Beneath and above, the earth moves and the clouds flow, a feeling of bliss and an expansion of consciousness-It's ok to indulge with the gifts of nature. Nature in the raw form has no faults, only discoveries leashed from experimentation, observation, ingestion. The age of power of the dilution of awareness is taking its final gasp for breath. Beyond is open to the decisions we make now.

Add it to almost EVERYthing!
First bought this by mistake, thinking it was cocoa butter. Just for yucks, I tried adding it to cookie batter, as a replacement for butter or oil - or using part manna, part the other fat. Freaking delicious, and the added texture (not in cocoa butter), was wonderful. Ditto for coconut shrimp, etc. Anything you're already using coconut in, it amplifies the flavor beautifully. The dogs get a little in their food, for their coat. They love it. I put it in sugar scrub - great for flaky skin. We're never without an extra jar!

Give it a go...
Nutiva Organic Coconut Manna comes in a 15 Ounce glass jar with metal lid. This arrived in the fall time so the contents were solid. The "fat" of the coconut manna was at the top of the jar and it was a bit frustrating trying to figure out how to warm up the liquid without microwaving the jar. This can easily be placed on your store top or in the microwave about your stove top while you are cooking on cook top. The heat from cooking will warm up the jar and then you will be able to mix it so once it solidifies again, you'll have a nice mixture. I have used this is a variety of food items like protein shakes such as NAKED WHEY - #1 Undenatured 100% Grass Fed Whey Protein Powder from California Farms - 5lb Bulk, GMO-Free, Gluten Free, Soy Free, Preservative Free - Stimulate Muscle Growth - Enhance Recovery - 76 Servings, baked goods, and for steamed milk. I love the flavor with the full fat taste and quality of the coconut. I will be purchasing this again!

Exceptionally STRANGE stuff!!!!
Words will be hard to find to describe this crazy awesomely healthy stuff. As soon as I got it I tasted it right out of the jar. The oil was separated from the coconut part but it still tasted nice. To liquefy, place jar in hot water for several minutes and stir. Note: do not microwave... getting it too hot will ruin it. It's slightly grainy or pasty and slightly sweet... kind of melts in your mouth. I use it in fruit smoothies but I also made paleo "candy" with it. I combined unsweetened chocolate, coconut manna, Coconut Secret - Raw Coconut Nectar which is a Low Glycemic Sweetener. I added shopped pecans and placed spoonfuls on parchment paper and in to the freezer. It tasted great and if I have to have chocolate then I can have a taste of this and be satisfied. Great alternative to sugar loaded chocolate. I'm exploring other ways to use it and I can wait to try other things.... will purchase again.

Melt and mix it and it's delish
I have been a long-time user of coconut out; this was my first time trying coconut butter. I'm sure glad I read the reviews first! Otherwise, I would not have liked it because it arrived hard and had separated, so the top layer tasted pretty gross (all fat) until I soaked the jar in hot water and stirred it well. I'm definitely going to do what someone else said and put it in several smaller jars because it's a real pain to wait for the whole jar to melt enough to stir, and it's very messy to stir when it does. But, it is quite tasty when properly mixed/stirred. I've been putting it in my coffee to make the "jet fuel" coffee that gained popularity a while ago—it really does give you an extra boost, and it's delicious, unlike other jet fuel coffees made with butter or oil. Haven't used for anything else (other than eating by the spoonful), but can't wait to try!
