Fantech FG 4XL Inline 4" Centrifugal Duct Fan, Metal Housing, 170 CFM, 120V

this fan is great. It actually works. It uses low wattage, is quiet, very sturdy, can over come the resistance of ducts, fittings and screens and still keep air flow high. It's easy to attach ductwork.

Bought this fan for a smallish shower. I have two daughters and between them and my wife showers are long. I was getting mildew in the ceiling and decided to install this fan. Fairly simple if you are handy. You need a power source in your attic, and you need to cut a hole in your roof and bathroom ceilings to install the vents. I used 4 inch insulated duct for this fan. It is very quiet and removes the steam rapidly, the bathroom mirror is no longer fogging!

This 4" Fantech moves more air than a 5" fan made by another company. It is near-silent whereas the 5" howled like a wolf. Our HVAC contractor said Fantech is the only brand they will install.

I purchased this for my bathroom to replace one of the same brand that was not removing the steam adequately. I called the FantechTech support and was told my old one was inadequate for my size bathroom. They recommended this one based on my room dimensions and it works great.

This blower was easy to install remotely from the vent and provides quiet performance. Solid metal construction, heavy gauge, makes a good solid path to the outside. Wiring connections are well designed.

I replaced the stove range hood fan with this. I needed to pick up the extra duck work and clamps. I mounted it to the overhead rafters in the attic and wired it up. It vents thru the roof. The new blower works great. Fantech makes good stuff. She is happy her stove fan works again.

I've used Fantech for awhile this fans performs OUTSTANDING and is VERY silent!!

I use this as a workshop fan to eliminate solder fumes when assembling electronics. Fan is very effective at taking smoke away and is quiet. The metal body makes it very durable. Overall - very pleased.
