Premier Kites SoundWinds Safety Recumbent Bike Flags

I now own 4 flags from Premier Kites Soundwinds. These bike kites are a bit expensive -- but you get what you pay for! the workmanship and materials are top quality! I ride a recumbent trike - often before daybreak, and being seen is really important when you on a low riding bike! you definitely will NOT have a problem being seen with one of these Soundwinds colorful flags!!My flag has been whipped around in some pretty strong, gusty coastal winds - up to 15+ mph, as well as in the bright hot south Texas sunshine. It looks as bright and good as the day I bought it! The quality of the sun tex fabric is excellent, and the stitching is, too! No frayed edges ,or loose threads. Seams are finished beautifullyAlthough the kite comes with a collapsible flag pole connected by elastic cord -- I opted to purchase a one-piece 0.25" white solid fiberglass flagpole for my trike. To insure the flag does not fly off, I also ordered some 0.6mm molded Stop C-slips (sometimes called do-hickeys). These molded clips are hard to find -- but can be found online. Three clips snap over my flag at the top, middle and bottom -- right over the pole. I have never lost a flag -- even in 15 mph winds! The clips go right over the spine of the flag and clip tightly to the flappole. Much better than trying to glue, tie, or ziptie it to the pole!If you are in the market for a high quality flag for your bike / trike, I highly recommend the Soundwinds series bike flags by Premier Kites. This bike flag is much larger than what came with my trike. The individual pennant shapes helps with wind resistance on such a large surface. It is perfect for high visibility when riding. It comes with a tie down to keep it from lifting off the pole. Highly recommend this flag.

Everyone has different ideas about quality but I was disappointed in the overall quality of the fabric and pole. It's a nice design but the quality of the materials used does not justify the price enough for me. Returned.
