Mineral Fusion Gray Root Concealer for Hair, Dark Brown, 0.28 oz

I love this company, Mineral Fusion, and this concealer is so awesome. It is slightly sparkly instead of matte, which blends into my hair so quickly and perfectly rather than looking like I painted it on. I am hoping that this product is still available to purchase...it has been hard to find. I like that it is made of natural ingredients.

I had never used a product like this before, but without being able to get into the hair salon my grey roots are showing, yikes, so I needed something! This product works great, no smell & blends well. I have light-ish brown hair with low lights & highlights (and grey roots on my crown & around my temples). The end with the spongy applicator works well for the crown area, I applied it in a brushing motion, let it dry a couple minute then brushed it through with my gloved fingers, it blended will & covered most of the grey so it looked natural. I used the mascara applicator side for the hairs around my temple, that worked good too. I would recommend this product. The product does come off on your fingers, so use a disposable glove.

No safety seal no expiration date! Who knows how old this is or how many people got it in the mail and didn’t like it and sent it back. You never know if someone got in it. The box was smashed but that could’ve been from shipping or it could’ve been that it’s passedaround you would never know no safety seal no expiration not cool.Update I have ordered a few of these because I have no choice. Yes still no safety seal box or product but the main thing I want to say is they sure do not last it is a little bit and it’s gone in a couple weeks. And you cannot get all of the product out that’s just the nature of the tube and the length of the brush.

This product may not be for everyone. It isn't ideal, but it works well enough for me. The bad: The mascara wand end gets tangled around my hair and pulls it out from time to time; It is difficult, if not impossible, to get all of the product out with the wands provided. I use a disposable mascara wand to get out as much product as I can; The soft smooth wand is pointless in my opinion; It comes off on my fingers if I rub it or scratch my scalp. The good: The product doesn't get hard and stiff in my hair. It's a sticky and tacky at first, but after it dries I don't really notice it unless I scratch my head; It lasts about six months or longer but it all depends on the user; It provides decent gray coverage and blends into my hair well. I use the Dark Brown.

Note to the manufacturer: Please consider getting rid of the "wand" end of the applicator, making one single tube with just the mascara-type applicator, as it is far more effective at covering each strand of hair. (Anyone reading this, if you agree, please let the manufacturer know or "like" this review and I'll send it to Mineral Fusion if several others agree that the change would be helpful.) This is an effective root touch-up that, to the best of my knowledge, contains no harmful ingredients. It blends very well with my color, adds a little bit of volume and, most importantly, extends time between trips to the salon by about 2 weeks. My stylist even seemed impressed with the effect.

Product colors grey but there is very little in the container. I use one tube in about a week and a half. Too expensive. I found another product works just as good and last longer

I color my grays with henna but it's kind of a pain in the butt so I've been using this to bridge the gap in between henna-ing and it totally gets the job done! My grays are mostly around my temples/hairline aka the most obnoxious and visible areas and this does a good job covering them up. Super easy to apply and drives quickly so you can run your fingers through your hair without the color coming off on your hands. I don't particularly care for the sort of tacky feeling it leaves in your hair but you gotta take the good with the bad. The ingredients are pretty clean too, which is an absolute must for me.

I’ve been on the hunt for a quality, easy to use cover-up for grey hair. I do not have enough to use an aerosol cover-up product, but needed something for the strands around my crown and part that doesn’t transfer on my skin. I’ve tried the powders (horrible!) and regular mascara, but this hands down is the best! It covers easily, matches my dark brown hair perfectly, and isn’t clumpy or sticky. My only complaint is that there’s not a larger option to buy since I know I’ll go through it all! Highly recommend!

I use it as a moustache colourant. A little brush over in the morning and lasts the day pretty good - maybe a touch up later in the day if I've been training etc. No harsh and nasty chemicals directly under my breathing apparatus. Also a much more naturalistic effect than some other beard mascara's

This product provides brilliant coverage of those annoying greys. I would definetly recommend
