...it gets the job done! When you use this, have plenty of paper towels or rags nearby. If you are not careful, it gets all over. But I have used this in many applications and had excellent results every time. It is sticky as can be and it's tough to remove if you make big mistakes. So I suggest to use it sparingly, wait a few moments before joining pieces and then press them together for a durable bond. The tube itself didn't leak, but it tends to keep coming out the nozzle after you set it down (remember the paper towels!). I found it easy to use following these tips and it is in a handy size tube. It has never disappointed me!

Worked like a charm for replacing my car's door seal trim. No issues with it not sticking or wearing off. The bond between the metal and the trim was spot on.

This 3M Black Super Weatherstrip Adhesive (08008) is incredibly strong and durable. It bonds rubber seals, gaskets, and trim perfectly, even in extreme temperatures. The black color blends well, and it stays flexible after curing. Works great on cars, doors, and RVs. A bit smelly, but worth it for the performance. Highly recommend!

Okay so it's been a little while since I purchased this, however I didn't use it right away. The rubber sealer on my driver side door basically is falling off and it's a newer car so this shouldn't happen. Unfortunately I put a ton of miles on my vehicles as a medical courier so the warranty even at a 36,000 mile mark is pretty much gone in a few months for me. I bought the larger tube of this because it was a decent price and I wasn't really sure how much I was going to need as I've never reattached a door gasket before.. and as it turns out the amount that I used out of this tube to do the job, you can't even really tell that I squeezed the tube. So basically a little bit goes quite a ways.I found the directions perfectly, and this stuff worked beautifully. That seal on my driver's door isn't going anywhere ever again. I do caution you however, this stuff gets everywhere if you're not careful. I did get a little bit on one of my fingers and before I knew it I had transferred it to my other hand and somehow on my arm. Didn't take much effort to remove it but had it been on my clothes I'm not so sure. However regardless of this, I definitely recommend this product.

When it has to hold this is the stuff to use. Works in high heat and oil soaked applications. It has to be removed from the surface wire a wire wheel, it will not scrap off. Works on cork, rubber, silicone and fiber gaskets.

This 3M adhesive bonds incredibly well and withstands harsh weather. Easy to apply, dries fast, and holds strong. Perfect for weatherstripping and gaskets. Highly recommend!
